Help me stabilize my elliptical

We have our elliptical in our (small) living room, which...meh. I'd rather not, but needs must. Anyway, we just had new carpet installed, and while it's far from shag, it's certainly more plush than our previous carpet. (Case in point: none of the interior doors would shut after the installation! )

Long story short, my elliptical has a serious wobble now. I've never had any sort of mat under it, but I'm looking for out of the box ideas. Anyone deal with this? Looks like I need something under the front and rear of the elliptical. Maybe I could get a mat and just cut it to fit those places...anyone do that? (I'm hesitant to have a giant, black, rubber mat across the -new- living room floor.)

never had that issue, but could you find a mat the same size as the area of the elliptical? I've seen those.

Most elliptical machines have adjustable feet. If yours does not, perhaps you can cut scraps from the leftover carpet that will fit underneath to help level it. That way it will blend right in.

I don't have a carpeting issue like you, but over time, my stationary bike developed a wobble and I put a couple of furniture moving discs under one side to even it up.
