Does Leslie ever make beginner workouts anymore?

Seems like everything has tough segments and a professional crew now.

Yeah I have noticed a trend in her newer stuff to have faster miles and more boosts. She does often say that you can stay low impact or slow down if you need to. Are you looking for suggestions for beginner friendly Leslie workouts?

Thanks, Diana. Not so much beginner friendly but walks that are actually one mile only but not enhanced with jumps and runs - I have all the older ones like that but I've done them SO many times. I like to do them when I've been sick or just feel lazy, but I don't like to do just part of a longer workout. I like to start and finish with her and hear that I "just did a mile!"

I'm on Leslie's mailing list, and they sent out an email yesterday looking for testimonials for an upcoming infomercial. Of course I have no idea what the infomercial product will be, but there may be some beginner workouts in the works!

I just started back doing Leslie's workouts and I agree, i'm not thrilled with the "boost" segments.
I love her traditional walks with added weights or toning bands.

This. Leslie's workouts are the easiest to modify down and most can be kept entirely low impact.

Yes, but I don't like to do that. That's what can be great about a Leslie workout - they are doable. When I feel like one easy mile I want an easy one mile workout, not a longer boosted workout I can modify. That's just me.

I see a DVD on ebay called 3 Mini Walks that are one mile each. Anyone know about these?

Sara,

The mini walks sound like one of the Dvds from the Super Walk set. Collagevideo sells this set. The set uses booster cables. There will be some information about the mini walks. My review......

Mile 1: Gentle Walk. 14 minutes plus cool down. Group walk, no high impact.

Mile 2: Brisk/Fast Walk. 12.5 minutes plus cool down. Warm up is short. Only thing that is slightly higher impact are shifts. Leslie solo.

Mile 3: Super Walk. 16 minutes, including cool down. This mile uses the booster cables. Leslie solo.

Yes, but does she show anyone modifying anymore? She used to designate someone as her lower-impact modifier for viewers to follow through the entire workout. In the Radio Remixes one she has no modifiers.
I do like her newer DVDs but I miss the old crew and format, too.

Another one who prefers Leslie's older workouts. The new ones just don't appeal to me for some reason.
