I'm maintaining my routine as always. Walking outside for a couple of miles everyday, doing my resistance DVDs at least three times a week. Haven't gained weight.

However, after seeing SD Gov Kristi Noem at last night's Mt Rushmore festivities, I really need to step up my game. Her arms were amazing! I couldn't stop staring. I know she grew up on a ranch. Is she carrying calves to and from the barn?

My local nail shop hasn't reopened yet which is frustrating. I wonder if they ever will. I desperately need a haircut!

At least I'm saving money on lipstick these days with mandatory mask wearing.

I'm impressed with any woman who wears full makeup and earrings while working out! I like to think of myself as girlie, but I draw the line at gussing up when I'm gonna workout.

She does have amazing arms! Along with weights, body weight moves really tone my arms up.

I had my hair cut last week at the salon. I was on the fence about going, but read the story about 2 hairdressers at a supercuts/great clips salon who tested positive for Covid, but since everyone had on masks none of the over 100 clients caught it. So as long as precautions are in place, everyone should be okay. It had been 6 months since my last hair cut and felt great to have it done!

I just looked this up... and purchased it Too bad about the title, but the principle looked interesting and relevant. I read the sample online and was laughing and nodding in agreement.

I wondered what this was but the title turned me off. Is it a book?

Vantreesta, yes, she offers up books and a journal to help you get organized and motivated to tackle the housework. She is the anti-Fly Lady. She uses salty language, that's for sure, but the fact that it's not sugar coated works for me.

Wow that lady has some pair of guns! Nice job!

I did a few 20/10 rounds of cleaning up the dump on Saturday and walked at the beach. Yesterday my son visited and we ate Middle Eastern takeout at the beach while just sitting and watching the birds diving and the ferries and sailboats go by. It was so nice.

"Self-care" has taken on a new meaning this week. Due to nearby wildfires the air quality has been dismal. Over 150 AQI on some days.

We have HEPA air cleaners we bought a long time ago for a cat that had asthma. They come in handy for wildfire season. I have these going full time. Another reason to hide in my house!
