Good Morning, Everyone!

I probably won't be able to get a formal workout in today. I have been reading Bible stories at a children's camp on Tuesday's/Thursday's and then later today I have a hair apt. Maybe I can still get my steps in. We'll see.

Last night: Basic stretches and bird dogs for my back
This morning: Oxycise

Have a Blessed day and stay healthy!

Check-in: abs challenge day 18, kettlebell days 18 & 19.

This afternoon is DD's gastroenterologist appointment. They were supposed to mail her the new patient forms, & said they did, but the forms never got here. I checked their website & printed them out. Now forcing DD to fill them out. I'll drop her off & pick her up, but can't go in with her. The gastro center is only about 10 min away.

DD brought home an issue of Woman's World last week, and wanted a gooey dessert instead of the lowcarb chick stuff we live on. In a springform pan, bake brownie mix. Topped with cream cheese-gelation stuff for the cheesecake no-bake layer. Topped with a megabox of strawberries. Topped with melted strawberry jam. I said we could make it as long as she took it to work the next day to share. Today seemed like a good day for it.

Checking in with Fitness Blender At Home Lower Body Workout and a mile outdoors. Tomorrow I will be doing a lot of packing and cleaning, so I'm not sure if I'll get a workout in.

Cynthia, did you like the dessert?

Diana, the warranty company did flat out lie to me today in my second 2-hour phone call with them (mostly on hold). They said the part was manufactured and shipped and would take 10 business days to arrive. I put up a firm fuss and then demanded a tracking number (because I want a rush shipment if it's really going to take 2 more weeks).

When pressed, they gave me the phone number of the parts provider and a PO number, and it turns out I'm not even supposed to call them. But after hearing my story they were very nice and have been trying to help. No part has been made or shipped. The company that made our HVAC went out of business. The plant in China that they're trying to have make the part is really backed up due to the coronavirus. So the parts company is trying to get a substitute part approved, which we can get pretty quickly. Of course the warranty company won't approve a new HVAC. They are dishonest scam artists. Infuriating, and we are going to 90 degrees again here. Ugh.

HI Everyone!

No workout to report for today.

Tomorrow I will be cleaning the house. Not sure if I will get a formal workout in but I know I will get a lot of steps.

Cheryl I am so sorry you are dealing with all of that. Keeping your situation in my prayers.

Have a Blessed evening!

Cheryl, I stopped renewing my home warranty years ago when they refused to replace my water heater, which could not be repaired. I hope you can get through this quickly.

A waist is a terrible thing to mind - yes, delicious dessert that lived up to its title of "rich 'n' creamy dream." It leaves the house tomorrow.

DD had a good gastro visit. This was the first time she had used her insurance from work. She is full time and gets insurance. She had a copay, but I shudder to think what the visit would have cost with her former insurance, which covered nothing short of major medical. It was good that they accepted her as a new patient w/o requiring a referral from a primary physician, which she doesn't have. I looked up the name of the doctor and was impressed. (My gastro, who does my colonoscopies, is in the same group). A graduate of Harvard Medical School, he's board-certified specialist, etc. After a physical examination, he gave her some samples of over-the-counter medicine to ease her symptoms, some advice, and set up a return visit next month. Nothing to fear and it set her mind at ease. Her father and my father each had colon cancer. The Dr. recommended her having a colonoscopy at age 40 b/c of the family history.

yesterday was a lost day due to terrible migraine that the pills did not help. Was doing better today, but now another seems to be about to hit. I did get in barre 3 and Lauren day 18 (behind now), but have to rest now and hope it doesn't get worse. These migraines seem to hit in waves.

Cynthia, glad your DD is doing ok and you got good results on your mammo.

Cheryl, so frustrating about the HVAC. DH had a crisis about his laptop warranty which they were denying for no good reason. He ended up having to pay for the repair, but he managed to get the cost down significantly given they overcharged the repair double what it should cost.

Diana, you sound really busy now that you are retired. Following in Cynthia's footsteps, I see!
