Looking for workout pants

What brand pants/capris do you wear for working out? I have a little extra weight around the waistline (not much though) so the brands in my local stores look terrible on me. Most of the ones I see online look like they are made for younger women. I'm in my 60's. I would like to find something that is modest and not skin tight that I can wear outside the house.

I normally shop at Goodwill and other thrift stores. But the last time I bought new I had great luck at Marshall's/TJMaxx. The pants and leggings I liked the most were Kyodan. They have held up well and were very reasonably priced.

Seconding the advice to look at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.

The specialty shops seem to specialize in selling things to skinny young things.

TJMaxx/Goodwill

Not sure about Marshall's, but our Goodwill and TJMaxx don't have their dressing rooms open.

Yes, this practice of having to purchase clothing and guessing size/fit is very frustrating to have to go through.
Kyodan is having a sale on some items and posting the link so you can get an idea of their styles. They offer various rises in the pants. The joggers are super comfortable and modest without being sloppy like sweatpants can be (as far as wearing outside the home.)

Forgot about that, but I guess I know my own size well enough that I never bother trying things on in store. Shopping in places like that I'm mostly concerned with finding something well designed. Also, I think I'm not that fussy about finding exactly the perfect fit with workout gear.

Double check that they'll allow returns before you shop, for sure.

I love Old Navy workout pants. I do have others I bought at the thrift store and I like them fine but Old Navy is my favorite.

As a guy I wear plus size leggings from Forever 21 along with an enterprise called Stretch Is Comfort.

If you don't mind something of more sweatpants like material (but lighter), I purchased these for wearing around the house but think they are nice enough to wear out, too:

They run small (I usually were medium but the small fit fine and was long on me). I would recommend the gray or navy heather shades; I tried the black but that was 100% cotton (rather than a cotton/poly blend) and the fit was different, so I exchanged them.
