Avia Itrain shoes and lateral movement?

Good morning!! I got the awesome deal on the Avia I Train shoes and they are gorgeous and they feel sooo comfy! BUT! I tried to wear them yesterday doing Leslies Walk Slim 4 Fast Miles, and I THINK the lateral movements were a baaad idea in this type of shoe ( I think they are comparable to tone up type shoes), my right knee really hurt to touch and move last night, and this morning it doesnt seem to hurt anymore, thank goodness, but my outer right ankle is hurting So maybe i am the only stupid one to think they were ok to wear for that workout, but I am guessing that lateral type movements like side steps etc, must not be good for you to do in this type of shoe, I HATE getting hurt it puts my workouts on hiatus So I just wanted to FYI, just in case someone like me that got the amazing great deal on these and wanted to do just any workout with them, it may not be a good idea..Lesson learned on my part, lol....Fwiw, I have never owned a pair of shoes like these, so I suppose there is a learning curve to having them lol..

Yes, they are tone-up shoes. I did a search on them before I bought them.

I received mine yesterday. I haven't opened the box yet, but what I noticed instantly is how heavy the box is. I've tried doing Leslie's workouts with my MBTs and it really doesn't work well for me.

Hi Debbie! They are heavy in comparison to my other shoes I really really love them though, I think they look great, and they feel awesome on, Ill just have to remember forward movements only in them from now on, lol

Would love to know how you think they compare in comfort vs. the MBTs. Are they as unstable?
