You better watch all as soon as possible. I agree it is great documentary that is why I post it.

They test out a lot and I learned a lot from it.
Working out too much intensive a whole week is not good for your immune system.
Taking a cold shower just 30 second helps. They explain why.
Getting a message helps also. And there is more.

Yes, thanks for the link Nelly. That was really interesting. The BBC has some great documentaries.

I found it interesting that short term stress is actually beneficial, as opposed to chronic stress. Also interesting about the cold shower.

I did know what they said about immune supplements, but didn’t realize echinacea had been proven to help with colds.

I liked this host too. Being a doctor, she had some knowledge of the subject. She said she was an A&E doctor. I googled and she’s an emergency room physician, which means she probably gets her fair share of stress. She really enjoyed that massage!

I cannot find it anymore except with the BBC but then you only can see it if you live there.
The most of it I could remember is:
- A lot of alcohol has a big influence on the immune system. Just one glass not.
- Echinacea helps (you get a cold less longer) but some products has not a lot of in the supplements (unkown brands they lie on the label so truthful companies are better) so you need to watch out what you buy.
- Eat as much different food (unprocessed foods) as possible, so change it up.
- Workout like example walking but do not work out too hard or your body get stressed.
You know when this happen
- A cold shower of 30 seconds gives your immune system a boost
- A massage gives your immune system a good boost too.

I remember from a Dutch program that eating a lot of fiber helps a lot for your health too.
I hope this helps. It is not that fun you cannot see the research did but please know I write it because our immune system is immortant now.

Ugh! Yesterday, I only got through half of the documentary. So, I missed the parts about working out and massages. While I already knew that working out too hard actually suppresses your immune system (I've experienced this effect myself), I wanted to see the science behind it.

Thanks for the summary! Maybe one day soon the video will be available again.
