Today I did a Leslie fast mile on Youtube with her muted and music on my earbuds, an outdoor walk, and Heather Robertson's upper body strength workout with dumbells. I'm trying to stick with a daily schedule that includes allotted time for songwriting and practicing and other music things, and I did well today at least. Life and family tends to make it difficult sometimes.

Diana, do post your steps if it helps you be motivated! Great job on steps last month and starting off this year.

Cynthia, I don't love the sun salutations at the beginning of that workout either but I like the sequence after that. It makes me feel very relaxed.

Lynn, I hope the service went well!

Cheryl

Hi Everyone!

I went to the ENT today about the sores in my nose. One side (right side) has completely healed up. Left side is still there but not as bad. The Dr. said I have a polyp. I discussed with him how all of this came about when we were cleaning out the shop. His thoughts are that it might have started as an allergic reaction to all the dust and dirt. I had this look when he mentioned polyp. I asked if he thought it was anything bad he said he thinks it's benign. Nothing looks suspicious. So the treatment plan is flonase and prednisone. I will go back in 2 weeks. I felt a lot of relief after the appointment.

Cheryl Thanks I will do that. I have started back to logging my workouts in a daily planner. I stopped sometime after we retired.

Had blood drawn for a thyroid test. This one was fasting. Fortunately the lab is only about a mile away and there wasn't a long wait. And the phlebotomist, complimenting my vein, said that I obviously drink enough water. Then I got home, had coffee, and did my workout.

Checki-n: 21DF Total Body Cardio Fix.

I'm aghast at how much weight I gained, and I don't know exactly how much. I had gotten out of the habit of weighing every morning b/c it's been so cold and I don't weigh my clothes. And then when I did get on the scale, I didn't get an honest weight b/c I pressed against the wall. (Shame on me.) No more of that. Today, honest weight 135 which is 7.5 more than I like. But my waist is 2 inches less than it was last week. I knew I could count on 21DF for results. I have been careful with food, avoiding treats and drinks.

I got the support VF email from our phantom administrator. I've always sent a payment. Now I'm wondering if I will.

Hi Everyone!

Cynthia I had thyroid labs today, too. I had lost 10 pounds over the Summer but have gained it back.

Fitness Blender finally posted a new workout for everyone (not just the Plus subscribers), so I was happy to do it today. It was a Pilates/HIIT/Strength lower body workout (divided into segments) with no repeating moves. It was not too strenuous as Kelli is still dealing with a nerve illness that she developed over a year ago. But I added a resistance band and used heavier weights than she did and it was perfect. I also did a Leslie mile and walked outdoors (it was cold!).

Cynthia, the holidays can wreak havoc on the weight, but I know you'll get back to your goal, especially with 21DF, which always works so well for you.

Diana, I'm glad your polyp is benign and that you are feeling relief. It's good to find out that things are ok!

It's been challenging to stick to the schedule that I made, but I am fitting the practicing and songwriting in so far, even if things stretch out. I find that I am so tired at night and just unproductive at a certain point. Is it just me, or does anyone else need more sleep during this pandemic?

Cheryl

Good Morning, Everyone!

Speaking of sleep, I have been up since 3:30. I suppose it's insomnia from the Prednisone. I have had this reaction to prednisone before.

Cheryl There was no biopsy done on the polyp, so I am hoping the Dr. is correct. I am finding that I need at least 7 1/2 hours sleep to feel decent.

This morning: Oxycise

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

barre 3 30 minutes.

The funeral, family gathering on Zoom and services at our home on Monday went well. Since then I have been doing barre 3, but really feeling exhausted. So I've been resting a lot in the afternoon. I should do restorative yoga, but I just feel like sleeping. A lot of friends and family members have been so supportive, which has been great, but the weight of the last few weeks is just hitting me full force now, I think.

Lynn, sleep is the best restorative.

Check-in: 21DF Upper Fix. I used the bands option today instead of weights.
