Meditation: I began my own body scan after getting in bed but didn't get past the soles of my feet.

Does anyone here use a meditation bench? I have a zafu and zabuton but due to an old hip injury sitting cross-legged for more than a few minutes can often be painful. I keep wondering about a stool/bench. Of course, I really haven't been good about seated meditation so I'm not sure if it's worth looking at but just was curious if anyone had any thoughts on them. If I just sit in hero's pose my legs sometimes go numb ot my ankles hurt. TIA!

Day 2 - 22/12
- Ekhart - All Butt Yoga - a mostly standing practice with a lot of balance work.
- Travis Eliot Yin Yoga - Renew
- Crystal Bowl Chakra Meditation from Templesounds that Cyana posted. I was lit up like a Christmas tree by the end of it. I'm going to do this again tonight with headphones. Thank you Cyana.

Day 3 - 23/12
- Qigong with Mimi Kuo-Deemer - The Five Elements
- Ekhart Yoga - Transforming a turtle into a firefly. No way, no how will I ever do a firefly. I enjoyed watching Andrew do that pose though.

Anita - I often have Epsom salt baths but hadn't really thought of adding herbs. Thanks for the tip. I subscribed to MFML for 3 years, so when my subscription expired a few weeks ago, I just felt like trying something new. It's a great site though.

Ilde - Your Caribbean Chiball workout sounds interesting. I still love to do my Chiball workouts, even though they're years old.

Catahoula Cate - Do you have a favourite qigong instructor? I'm thinking of re-subscribing to YoQi. I really like Marisa's practices, especially as most are filmed in beautiful surroundings.

Pat - The best kind of meditation.

Mary - Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Vantreesta - I'm not very flexible in the hips, so sitting cross-legged isn't comfortable for me either for long periods. I bought a curved wooden bench years ago but to be honest it's so hard on the bottom, I never use it. I have a half-moon cushion and a bolster but prefer to sit in a chair because I can then relax and stop thinking about how uncomfortable I am! I'll be interested too to hear what everyone else thinks.

Waves to all!

Vanny, I have this one:
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08DHRQG85/

It's nice and comfortable; I just often prefer being more reclined. I do have a coupon code for 10% off if you order the bench on Amazon (good through 12/31): BethCho10

I have added this to my cart. Thank you for the suggestion (I won't use the coupon code so Vannie can use it) but this is a good solution for me.

No worries, Mare, feel free! It will take me a while to decide. I am notoriously slow at making decisions!

The company gave me that coupon code - anyone is welcome to use it!

And yes, that is me in the purple shirt; I posted with my Amazon review. You can see a different view on Instagram:
