Helen, I've been skipping around with Tim - I did his Day 7 (Breath) today but also did a chair yoga practice with Sarah Starr and a practice from Jennifer Kreatsoulus.

01/13/2021 - Day 24:

Meditation: Stumbled upon a kind of "out there" meditation on YouTube - Bone Healing Binaural Beats. It has printed instructions for a meditation to follow as you listen to a freaky Forbidden Planet type track. I did my back PT while listening along.

Yoga: My back was really jacked up yesterday so after the floor exercises I used the Petrone balls, foam rolled, did the psoas releases on a yoga block and finished up with Felica Tomasko's "Unwind Computer Related Neck and Shoulder Tension" which had some really nice thoracic opening.

Felicia showed a move she calls Funky Chicken. You sit on mat with legs out and knees half bent. Put one hand behind back so the back of hand rests on the waist, then you bend that shoulder toward or inside the knee.

Yes, this was me, too. Sorry I didn't post; at some point, I just had to turn the computer off.

I continued with my morning active yoga & evening wind-down practice. I'm just about finished with DYWM Grounding Challenge. I'll have to pick out another series as I do much better when classes are already laid out for me.

Yesterday I did a Yoga with Tim practice that I didn't really like - Day 7? It was focused on forward bends, which I do like, but he was leading another student rather than doing the practice himself, which I don't like as much. I just got his Day 13 in my inbox, which is Hip Mobility, so I might do that one.

Since I started on Boxing Day (12/26) and today is the 15th, I think I am halfway through my sadhana now!

01/14/2021 - Day 25:

Yoga: My chiropractor went gangsta on my back yesterday so I mostly rested after that and went looking for a restorative on Glo. "Restorative Back Bends to Soothe the Heart" by Felicia Tomasko was perfect. Followed that with posas release on the block and a long inversion table rest.

Everything's much better today. TGIF everyone!
