Good point but perhaps the person who brought it into the plant picked it due to the lack of countermeasures outside the workplace. The best we can do is be careful moving forward. Unfortunately, the lack of concern by some can impact the health of others.

A friend's MIL passed away from Covid a few days ago. She was 104. Her daughter had put her in a care home only a few weeks ago, before the care homes became hot spots. Just in time to get the virus.

That’s sad.

Since the rate of hospitalizations/cases is increasing in the County in which I live, my County Board has decided to keep restrictions in place despite the State planning on implementing "phase one" in reopening later this week. The Board is working with the other regional leaders so they are all on the same page, thank goodness.

Laws and restrictions seem to be useless with idiots refusing to follow them:

"Coronavirus case cluster tied to Pasadena party and 'selfish behavior,' officials say"

At least they are doing contract tracing! In Illinois I don't hear much about contact tracing locally. Hopefully they'll get that up and running soon. I've been arguing with people online on a local news site about the need to wear masks out and they keep screaming, "but my rights! I don't have to wear a mask if I don't want to! You stay inside if you are scared!" It is frustrating and a losing battle. One guy keeps talking about a restaurant he goes to that has prohibition dinners where no one wears masks. Obviously he doesn't mention the restaurant because he doesn't want to get them in trouble. I'm just waiting to hear about a cluster of people getting the virus from going to one of these prohibition dinners.
