Christi's Pure Spice Cinnamon

I wasn't originally interested in this workout, but a recent thread pushed me into taking a chance. I am SOOOO glad I did! This is a wonderful workout--so fun, love the non-verbal cues, the music is really fun, Christi is AMAZING at the moves. I just love it! I can dance!!

I've used Christi's Move Master on this workout--something I've not really had to use on her other DVDs, but have found incredibly useful on this one. I'm somewhat visual, but I think I need the verbal explanation as well. Christi does a fantastic job explaining the moves--she is really an incredible teacher. I admire and respect her like never before, and I already held her in really high esteem based on her past workouts.

Once I watched the move master for a dance, I then went straight to that dance and was able to easily pick up the moves.

I have been using the warm up and one dance as a warm up to several weight workouts this week--SO much more fun...

I just can't recommend this workout highly enough. If you like Christi's and Seasun Zeiger's step choreography, and if you want to be a dancer but maybe just aren't, or if you love to dance but have a hard time picking up choreography--I think you will love this workout I can't wait to do it again!

Once you get used to cue-less cardio (especially dance with good music), other workouts seem so... blathery. (Is that a word?)

So true! I am actually finding the same thing with my "toning" workouts - after one year of TA Continuity, I got dizzy doing 3 weeks of Barre Physique because the ladies were so "blathery"

Oh, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pure Spice

I looked it up, and blather means 'to talk foolishly at length' - gee, I wouldn't want to play you at Scrabble! And I agree - I love the no cueing!

Are the routines on this DVD a similar style to the ones Christie put on youtube?

Thanks
