Whose brilliant idea was this RBR tri anyway??!!? Argh, the bike!! Hubby got it fixed so the brake pads aren't rubbing anymore but didn't know anything about chains. Today it seemed to shift okay even though I still don't really know what I'm doing. I was trying to get my brother's thoughts on the wheel value and bike computer but he said I should take it to the bike shop and ask them. Grr. I set it at what I interpreted as correct and the numbers looked a little better today but I still only lasted 10 minutes and it said less than 2 mi. I was irritable and think I am trying to do too much in a day. I was constantly tripping over my jump rope today and both of my Polar chest straps kept dropping my HR to 0 and not coming back unless I stopped the recording. I handwash them after every wear bc they really don't work if I don't. Just a frustrating day all around after a fantastic day yesterday.

Workout yesterday was Jenny Ford Step Across America Georgia and JS L&S Mobility Moves Wind down.

Appointment with my thyroid doctor this morning to review last week’s ultrasound results the meeting my mom for lunch.

Vannie - How aggravating about your bike and your Polar monitor. I hate workouts when I feel like that. I have a Polar monitor but quit using it because it was so aggravating trying to get it to tell me to correct HR, then the battery died on it again and I would have to send it in to get the battery replaced which was expensive so I just decided enough of that.

Hi all. Sorry I haven't checked in the last couple of days. I was fighting a headache all day Tuesday but did manage a walk and 52 minutes on the elliptical. Yesterday DH and I went for a drive by the river and into the country side for about 1 hour. I didn't feel like doing much after so just did 50 minutes on the elliptical + Rodney Yee Yoga for Your Week AM Connection practice.

Cher - Sorry to hear about your eyes. Does the eye specialist do cataract surgery too? If so I would read up on what types of lenses they offer and what the pros and cons are, and also about cataract lenses in general so you have an idea of what you would want to get.

Vannie
- How aggravating about the bike. You sure do a lot in a day.

Gibbee - It's cool you were able to find the rose again.

Karjoy - Glad you were able to run with your old group again.

We got to the mid 70s yesterday and will be in the upper 70s today. It's been a great couple of days weatherwise.

Have a good day, everyone.

Ugh, just lost a post. I hate that. Sigh...

Ran 5miles with Heather this am in nice 45 degree weather. Love the cool mornings.

Gibbee I feel for you with the wedding and a new house and all the changes. I think of you so often.

Cher did you get your thyroid US results? Let us know too about what you find out from the specialist about your eyes. Hey my friend Heather highly recommends Jessica Smith to her clients. Heather is a wellness coach. I looked on YouTube and JS has tons of videos!

Jbliff I hope your headache stays away.

Vannie I am always excited to see how many exercise segments you get done I. A day. You do a lot! Did you ever do
Much swimming?

Night to all.

Workout yesterday was Jessica Smith’s Lift and Shift Total Body Stamina. I did two sets (there are 3) then did Rick Bueller’s Feel Good Walk off YouTube and called it a day. So far, I really like Jessica’s new set. It is not easy and has room to grow.

JBliff - Yes, the specialist does cataract surgery. I’m pretty much just going to see what he says whether my eyes are bad enough for it or not. If so, I will not be doing it until after my Florida vacation in May. I suppose I will have to do some research on it then.

Karen - I hate when my posts get lost. So aggravating! My appointment with my thyroid doctor went great! Nothing has changed so I don’t have to go back for a year now. Yay! Did your friend hear about Jessica’s new program? I’m sure she would like this one. It’s totally different from any of her other programs and definitely not for beginners.

Off to get in my workout and get moving. Darrell has his vaccine appointment this morning. It is a drive thru place so that will be cool.

Yesterday I did L&S Lower Body. This one sneaks up on you! It is 3 Circuits with 2 Rounds in each circuit and a set of Band Walks in between each circuit. I did both rounds of Circuit 1 and thought, “okay not too bad” but the first round of Circuit 2 kicked my butt. 🥵 I ended up skipping around 2 so I could at least do the first round of Circuit 3 and after the first round of that, I was done! I have a long way to grow with this one! This one sort of reminds me of the lower body premix on Cathe’s Total Body Trisets.

Darrell got his vaccine yesterday. Right now they are vaccinating anyone over 60 and 50 and over with underlying conditions. I could have probably gotten it with Darrell yesterday but I didn’t want to lie about having underlying conditions so they couldn’t give it to me.

Hi all. My workout yesterday was 40 minutes on the elliptical + Xtrain Hard Strikes heavy bag bonus + Hard Strikes abs + stretch.

Cher - Hooray for Darrell! DH is in the same boat as you are. He didn't want to lie about preconditions so he's still waiting for his official turn. He was speaking to a younger acquaintance yesterday who managed to get his wife and children vaccinated because there was some vaccination event that had no restrictions in terms of age and was only advertised on the Facebook page of the local CSA. It seemed pretty sketchy to me.

Hi to everyone else. Have a great day.
