I've been working upper body on my own. Also did the usual squats, static lunges, and added some barre seat and thigh. Don't know yet if the man will be here for Thanksgiving. His facility had to loan men to other facilities who are short because of covid. Praying they stay safe. He's supposed to be off til Saturday but they might need him. He starts vacation next Wednesday. Sure hope they don't take that away from him. I need him to help me after surgery. I'll be alone for the first 2 days or longer if he can't be here. That's a no-no but the doctor and hospital don't need to know. People from the agency stole from me and other things after the hip replacement last year. I'm better off without them.

Hi Everyone!

DH had an appointment with a hand specialist today. I had all of his recent reports, tests, x-rays, etc sent to this Dr. He went over the nerve study with us and we found out he has severe neuropothy in his hands as well as carpel tunnel. We were not told from the Neurologist that he had severe neuropothy in his hands. We knew it was in his feet. Neither of us care for the neurologist so, in time we might be finding a different Dr. for that. I think he has met his deductible so if he is going to have carpel tunnel surgery, now might be the time to get it.

Linda I will be praying for you with the whole surgery situation.

Check-In: 45 minute outdoor walk and Paul Katami Band Exercise TV https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GG5g...ist=WL&index=2

Have a Blessed evening!

Lauren KB sculpt. I used to hate this one, but I actually liked it. I might just be more used to Lauren's repetition. Things are still up in the air for my mom getting out of rehab. They still don't know if they can find a hospital bed for her to go home with due to the high usage of hospital beds with Covid. And she's in a Catch 22 since Medicare wants her out of rehab but she can't be discharged without going home with a hospital bed. But they can't find any beds. She is supposed to go home today, but they are waiting on the bed.

Linda, I really hope your guy doesn't have to work on Thanksgiving. Covid is really making things hard for these holidays for sure.

Diana, hope you find a neurologist you like. I hated my migraine neurologist so I ended up working with my family doctor. And for some reason my migraines have been better of late. They are unpredictable.

We have very simple Thanksgiving plans for just the two of us. I will try to make a nice meal and that's pretty much it. I have always hated traveling on Thanksgiving so we usually keep it low key, so this year is not too different for us.

My SO will be here on Thanksgiving. He'll get off work early that morning. He'll either go home to sleep or come straight from work. I don't like him driving after working 12 hours all night but he usually doesn't listen to me. He'll take me for the pre-surgery covid test on Friday and go back for work on Saturday.

Lynn - sorry there's such a dilemma getting your mother home from rehab. I've been thinking about Barre streaming. I saw the good deal from Barre3. Do they still do a lot of big movements? I'd like to do something with traditional barre movements. I'm picking Barre because I'll be one handed until mid-January and I can hold on to something.

Linda, barre 3 is not very barre these days. More like low impact cardio, so I don't think it fits your bill. There are definitely a lot of big movements.

Thanks Lynn. I'll find somewhere else to spend the money. Maybe Bar Method. Or Barreamped.

Checking in with Fltness Blender At Home Butt and Thigh Workout (Strength, Pilates, Barre) and DD and I walked outdoors. The back pain I was dealing with has moved more to my hip. I don't know what this means or what it is. I did change out the chair I was using for working to my excellent desk chair, because I think the other chair I was using was causing issues.

Linda, so glad your SO can be with you for Thanksgiving and bring you to the hospital! Hoping everything goes very smoothly.

Lynn, praying they can find a bed for your mother. It would be nice for her to be able to be home.

Diana, glad you found out about your DH's hand issues. It does make sense to do the surgery if needed, with the deductible taken care of.

Cynthia, knitting (and reading) are such great things to do when it's cold and rainy out. Hope your weather improves!

Cheryl
