Any news on the Extreme Urban Rebounding series?

Just wondered if anybody had heard any more news about this series? I've seen little bits on Amy's and Gay's sites but nothing on JB's site. I've also tried to contact JB to see if they will be available to UK customers but haven't had a reply.

I'm interested as well (now that I have my rebounder set back up).
You'd think there'd be more buzz about a 12(?) DVD set like this.

I know - especially as there's not much out there DVD rebounding-wise and there are some really good instructors in this series.

If you've read Amy's forum, you know what JB told her in late December, right? He was estimating 60 days and Amy was saying she thought it might be on the HSN. Do they ship overseas?

I just took a peek at Amy's forum and she's actually on a conference call with him and all the instructors of the extreme UR series now so maybe she'll have more info tonight

I just did the J.B. Berns workout (I wanted one that stayed on the rebounder). All pretty much recycled moves from his "Advanced" workout, with the addition of the sand weights towards the end to repeat the moves without the turns.

All the music seems recycled as well (from various instructors from 5-8? years ago).

JB may be even more annoying than in the past: "4 more, Jay", "take it to the right, J. B.", "t-t-t-t-turn" (or some other 'stuttered' instruction).

I worked up a sweat and fell 'worked out' but won't be turning to this one often, if at all.

This thread has pretty much confirmed my impressions from watching the clips; I am only interested in Gay's cardio interval DVD, and possibly one of Patrick's. I am going to wait a while because I am sure that the prices will decrease over time. It sounds like these DVDs are a good attempt by JB to use the rebounder in a way that is more challenging than past workouts, but hopefully the feedback on this set will help him design better and more professional workouts in the future. I hope he reads VF!

Kathryn, LOL re your comment about the bare, bouncing male chests. Hopefully, that's all you can see bouncing .

I am really enjoying these workouts and having a good time. I've worked up a good sweat with most of the ones I've done. I do not have the original UR workouts so I haven't gotten the recycled feeling on any of them. The only rebounder workout I'd done before these was the Fitprime one with Tracie. So far I've made it thru 5 of them. Haven't previewed any so they are a nice surprise the first time I do them.

This morning I did Gay's Strength one and had a really good time. It's Monday morning and all the repeating didn't bother me as my brain was a bit fuzzy! I think Gay's seem the most rehearsed from any I've done. I remember liking her other one too. I have a hard time remembering the names of these and wish they had different names. There was a lot of tifting in this one and I think it could have been even better if she'd used some new combos instead of tifting so much. Gay does seem to tift alot in her workouts though. I remember Joni-Oing one her CIA step workouts years ago because I just couldn't take another tift. I found the strength section on this one fun too.

I did one of Patricks and was dripping in sweat. Have to agree on the annoying backgound exerciser. I usually don't notice bg exercisers much but there was no way to not notice this one. Wish I had a program like Photoshop for DVDs and I could just "erase" her.

I know people have made a lot of comments on Amy's workouts but I had fun on her kickbox one. True, she does say do a roundhouse and it is not a roundhouse but I just kick to the side. I didn't have to modify on this one. It didn't seem bad. I will probably modify some of the jumping off the rebounder on the bootcamp one though.

I am working up to the Greg Cook, naked shirtless man, DVDs. From the comments so far they seem like the toughest. I think I'll probably laugh at JB's when I hear him talking to himself.

My biggest critique of these would be they need better music. And louder. I think if they had great music like TurboFire, these could have been wonderful workouts. Also, ditch the annoying background exerciser in Patrick's. Better outfits would help too but I can get around that. Oh, and get some different names for the workouts.

I've done JB's workout 3 times. I find him very entertaining!
The abs segment at the end is really good, short, but killer.
