I’m going to initial use the mobility sections only. I love that they’re chaptered to allow for this.

I’ve only previewed but found that DVD 2 is darker than DVD 1. It seems as though the periphery wasn’t lit while the area in which Tracie exercises is. This makes it look over all darker but didn’t make it hard to see Tracie or what she’s doing. I didn’t notice this on the clips at Mary’s site because I viewed them at different times but I bet you can see it if you look for it.

It’s totally not a game changer for me because I can see her clearly. I thought I’d mention it in case it would bother someone.

i decided just to put them in every other day. I'll repeat volume 1 today and Monday (unless volume 2 arrives early). Right now the 2nd volume is due to arrive Tuesday and then I'll just alternate them with a free day in between to do whatever. As volume 1 wasn't overly taxing, I could probably alternate them without a rest day. I may feel that out. If that goes well, I may even revisit Tracie's more recent stuff. I ordered but never really reached for them again, though there was some mobility work in her last series. I've been considering another STS rotation to get ready for summer and these will either be good prep for that or a substitution if I like the results.

ETA: I have mostly been doing separate mobility work and it is nice to have an instructor weave it in to a program.

I just finished my 2nd session of volume #1 and again my hips/legs are feeling strong and loose

Yeah, but I'm doing it softly LOL

I'm doing low level steady state cardio (easy step, walking etc) right now. My goal is circulation and activation of postural muscles. I'll often combine that with mobility type strength work because it gets me limber and I like to start that prior to going into a heavy strength rotation.

My dvds arrived Thursday, but I haven't been able to do more than preview them. Both workouts look great and while the set is darker, Tracie is clearly visible. I'm going to start with the mobility chapters since I really need more mobility work in my routine.

I've been in a heavy lifting phase, but I feel a Tracie Spring rotation is calling me.
