Yesterday I did Eoin Finn's "Just Do This Yoga" from his Blissology YouTube channel. I was a little surprised that he included crow in such a short practice, but it was nice overall.
Today I want to give Erich Schiffman's Lotus a try. Sometimes I can briefly get into lotus on one side with this...we'll see. I also want to meditate in my office this morning, probably using this Yoga with Tim practice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_0Yqsi9X9o&t=12s

Pam, yes, Lotus felt good on my hips, although I may be sore today! I didn't make it into full Lotus, but that's fine with me; I figure just the practice of trying to get there is good to keep my hips mobile, especially as I get older. Were you doing the headstand practice pre-sadhana, or is that a sadhana goal for you?
Sherry, I like some practices from YwA, but I can get bored or fed up with her chatter, so sometimes I abort like you did. Pat, say more about how that back practice was different! I've themed the yoga class I'm teaching tonight around Dr. Fishman's 12 Yoga Postures for Osteoporosis; we'll see how that goes! I actually want to try to do more standing yoga practices during this sadhana. I love yin and restorative, and after a long day at work, I'll often choose a practice that just has me lying on the floor. Also, I'm not a big fan of vinyasa flow, so sometimes I'll avoid standing practices for that reason...but other times when a practice is just holding triangle or warrior 2, I'll have an "ahhhh..." moment.

I wound up postponing the Fishman 12 practice...one of my students who is there almost every week wasn't there tonight, and I had said I would offer it for her specifically. So instead I continued with a theme I started before the holidays on the 4 Immeasurables from Buddhism. I did themed classes around the first two (metta/loving kindness and pali/compassion), so today we did mudita/sympathetic joy. Next week I'll either do the last one (equanimity) or go to the Fishman practice.
My personal practice today was a short offering from Yoga Journal's Foundations of a Home Practice, the energizing practice. And it was mostly standing...I'll have to try for more standing poses tomorrow!

Pam, sorry about the health issues!
Pat, LOL, I feel the same way about Leslie Sansone as I do about Adriene, which is that they are okay in small doses/on a limited basis.
