MetaShred - Almost a year later

Hi All,

I'm thinking of getting MetaShred for my husband and I. He does some of BJs paper and youtube workouts and likes them. What's the verdict on the Metashred DVD set? Are people still using them after a year?

Right now I'm really enjoying Millionare Hoy on Youtube and I'm always enjoying Cathe. I really like Hiit/drill type workouts and I'm good with compound moves.

Do these sound like a good fit for us? What did you think of them?

(putting a trade list out if anyone is done with them)

Thumbs up Go 4it

Hi there!

Metashred is also available on streaming format, just in case you were not aware.

Now to reply to your question. I am afraid I can not as I have not done it yet. I know for sure I love Hiit/drill, interval stuff. My intention is to get the streaming metashred now that I have changed my internet provider. I will then get the metashred extreme assuming it will be on streaming later on next year.

I am waiting for riptensity by post and looking forward to trying it out.

My 2 cents is if you like/love Bj stuff, ---/--- drill/ Hiit, go for it as likely you will re-visit the pack in future. Go 4 what you enjoy the most!ATB

So I pay $50 and get unlimited access to the workouts? Is that forever ? Or at least as long as the site is active ? Has anyone used this and do you like it? I stream Cathe live so I don't have any streaming problems normally.

Here is a link to a fantastically detailed breakdown and review.

I have it and liked it.. I have yet to go back to it.. but now may be a great time. I can mix it in with some Cathe live cardio. I found it was not enough to workout 3 times a week for only 30 minutes. I added cardio in on alternate days or some Barlaties.

Editing to add.. I have the DVDs.. not the streaming so cannot comment of it. But I also stream Cathe live and have no issues.

As it is quoted on the website, the access is forever.

GREAT review of MetaShred. I used it to format my own rotation.

I LOVED MetaShred!!!
I just did about a month of DeltaFit and got MetaShred and started my own rotation in November so its all pretty fresh. My own rotation meaning I do 2 of the 30 minute workouts back to back.

First of all, BJ is a hoot as usual. This time he has 3 backgrounders. Sometimes he works, sometimes he just teaches. GREAT exercises, both bodyweight and weighted.
My quads exploded (not literally) doing BJ's workouts. Not sure what it is, but I saw definite improvement in my definition.

I'm afraid I don't know anything about the streaming site. As long as you can access forever, go for it. Really is a super set. Can't wait for MetaShred Xtreme!!

Let me know what you think of Riptensity. Interesting that it's $30 for 6 30 minute workouts and MetaShred is $99 (or $50 to stream) for 9 30 minute workouts. Not sure how they come up with their pricing.
