Oh well, it's certainly possible that a couple got by me. But I do feel Kelly toned it down a lot, probably due to feedback she's received.

I don't mind a few "ha's", but not in place of cuing.

I ended up doing the 47 minute coffeyfit blend premix, combining boxing with conditioning. I thoroughly enjoyed the workout, as mentioned it's not a killer hard core workout, but I have enough of those and I worked up a really good sweat after about 15 minutes.

I really liked most of the music, it had a good motivating beat, one section seemed like it was just off a tad and I did not like the jazzy music during the floor stretch, but not so much that it actually bothered me.

I had a lot of fun doing this workout, and look forward to doing again. Some/many of the moves kind of feels like you are playing Wii. My arms were definitely feeling it after a while, I was not wearing my weighted gloves, but will next time.

I at first thought the conditioning sections would just be more drills similar to other drill based dvds, but there was some good unique and fun stuff in there, and not one jumping jack drill if I recall correctly, at least in the premix.

This is definitely going to be a go to workout when I want to workout but need something a little milder and with a high fun factor.

Question: would the "conditioning" workout segments count towards continued cardio, or are these really just purely strength-based?

I would classify the conditioning as cardio, I don't think all of the drills were in the premix but from what was there, there are no weight bearing activity other than squats using your body weight.

I also did the 47 minute premix this morning and I think the conditioning segments are more cardio than strength. For example, in one segment she has you swatting your arms up as though you're hitting a handball from near the ground up to the ceiling (hope this makes sense!). You use your arms and core and it does get your heart rate up.

I also enjoyed the premix -- not over the top hard, but a solid workout with good music and a great crew.
