I tried the boxing with 1/2 lb weights from my Cathe microload gloves. Really felt it!

I just did this one, and really like it as well.

I did the boxing workout, using 1# weighted gloves.

Kelly seems very upbeat in this one, like she's really enjoying herself (she seems to smile more in her more recent workouts, whereas in earlier ones, she always sounded upbeat, but looked a bit more serious).

The only glitch: during the final 8-count combo on the left side, it looks like they had to do some editing, and whoever synched the audio and video portions kept the audio going, but the video is off a bit, so they are not in time to the 8-count of the music (off by about 1/2 beat, IIRC). No biggie, but something that threw me off, as I follow the beat. Next time I do the workout, I'll know about it, and just not pay attention to them at that point.

I did feel it was over too quickly. I'm looking forward to trying some of the longer premixes.

I thought Kelly was more relaxed/having fun in this one too. I remember when I first tried MD, I wondered if she might have been sick when she was filming--she seems much more serious than usual in that one! I thought it was funny in TLC how she makes a joke about how when she says "left," it's really her right. There were a few other goofy moments like this.

I was having brain-issues this a.m. so I became frustrated with the TLC boxing workout... (probably not KCM's fault, I also JoniO'd Rapid Fire right away b/c I was struggling).

But I wanted to do something from TLC, so I tried 1/2 of the conditioning workout. I was really surprised that I enjoyed that one! I figured that it would be something that never got used (my whole purpose for getting this dvd was the BOXING only). Anyway, those "rope" pull-downs (right at the very beginning)...man! Who would think that it'd become so hard to hold my arms up (and so quickly!!!)

Anyway, can't wait to give these both another try (some time when my brain is functioning and I can follow more than 1 direction/body movement at a time).

ETA:
I think Sam looked really good in this. Lauren's form didn't look great...but (LOL) catching myself in the mirror, neither did mine. I also thought the music was really good and motivating.

I did TLC yesterday (the boxing and the conditioning) and I have DOMS today like I haven't had since meso 2 of STS. My lats, abs, shoulders, bis, and back are super sore today. I didn't even wear weighted gloves!! But I did truly try to give 100% to each and every punch. I couldn't finish the ab segment from conditioning where you scissor your legs - that's something to work towards. I LOVED these two workouts. Sorry to be late to the party on this one.

I am going to do Split Sessions lower body right now. If my upper body can handle holding the weights!!
