Timely thread. I've lost a lot of upper body strength lately and am trying to get back into it. I don't do overhead presses, upright rows, or anything else that might impinge or irritate my neck. I have substitute exercises from my PT but wouldn't mind finding a neck friendly video.

Would any of these suggestions be okay? I can still substitute a few exercises, but I don't want to modify an entire workout.

For my own suggestion, I have Joyce Vedral's book, Definition. It's a basic pyramid workout that I bought long before I was introduced to videos.

This is timely for me - I have not found any upper body workouts that I like other than Cathe. I do love Cathe's UB workouts, but would like some variety. I really like how she structures them by body part and have never found anything comparable.

I've been loving the upper body work in the Beachbody on Demand Barre Blend program. The 10 minute Enhance the Upper Body workout is KILLER!

I like Jessica Smith's Walk Strong 1 upper body. Also one of her you tube workouts, Upper Body Barre.

KCM usually has very good premixes for upper body. And she hits all the muscle groups.

I just did the upper body premix from the Cathe High Reps workout. It’s my new favorite :-)
