So that feeling when you're so old

that you want to start buying some old CIA videos that you let go years ago because they were too easy, and you can literally go read your own twenty-year-old reviews to make sure they were ones you liked

Donna H

P.S. Side note: some are pretty pricey!

Aaahhh, but I didn't let them go - converted them to DVD.
I still love me a Franny Benedetto, Donna Read, Phillip Gray, ...

I have some still but I'm just looking for variety with a little less intensity. Tried to get some old G-Force but they're gone so now I'm trying this.

How I wish I had been working out at home to the older CIAs that were on VHS! I only have the CIAs that were on dvd. I've got all but three. One is hard to find, one is too expensive, and I may get that third one

Mine were all on VHS and they’re all gone.

Can I ask how you converted them to DVD? I've tried converting old VHS to DVD but get that squiggly line due to the copyrights.

Have you checked your library? Mine has a lot of older workouts and a few CIA's. I cannot part with older step videos, because I still enjoy step and CIA had some of the best and good music too. Are there any on You Tube? I know Christi Taylor put a few of her older step and hi/lo on You Tube. Maybe you can find some CIA's.

I did find Phillip Gray's CIA on You Tube. Over 2 hours of video.

Using a capture device. Play on the VHS, capture device connects VHS to the computer which saves the played video as an MP4. Then I load the MP4 into movie making software and add a menu, chapters, and I make playlists that are mixes.
The capture device came from Aldi for about $70 and DH bought me the Sony DVD movie making software. Did ALL of my VHS workouts and home movies of the children.

Now that they are done, I just use the movie software to make nice DVDs with playlists and chapters of things I download from YouTube, like Leslie, Jessica, etc. Have ChromeCast but that doesn’t give me chapters or mixes so downloading and making DVDs is better.

Man, I need to troll Ebay and see if I can find some old CIA videos. I still have a vhs player in my home gym so I can easily do tapes.

I do have Philip Gray on DVD, and just picked up another on eBay yesterday, along with an older CIA I know I used to have.

I still have a VHS set up and still use all those old favorites, but kick myself all the time for not keeping G-Force in anticipation of getting old!
