Question Lalofit or Amy kettlebells??? the decisions!!

Oh boy, got my Collage order today and cannot make up my mind. I think it is going to be Lalo because I did Kettlenetics yesterday, but I was excited to see Amy had a kb workout. Odd, because these instructors never mention a certain method and then comes the bandwagon and they are all experts now!? Anyway, I like Amy and was wondering if anybody has done her Kettlebell workout Kettlebell Dynamics, which is supposed to be advanced, and what you think of it???

Red, have you previewed Amy's Kettlebell Dynamics at Collage and at her site? It's worth a look.

Here are a few recent threads with some info while you're waiting for responses:
How Much of Kettlebell Dynamics Can Be Done With Only One Kettlebell?
Amy Bento's KB Rotation
Kettlebell Question
Kettlebell Dynamics (first impressions - this might be most helpful to you)
Amy's Kettlebell clip is up (clip at Amy's site still active, but it may not be forever)
You can play Amys kettlebell dynamics

It's on a few trade lists, so it might be worth looking through those, too.

Definitely do a search for Lalo's workout, too, as there are some good threads on that one.

I would do Lalo and 1 of the 20 min. workouts from Amy's!

(I'm too indecisive to choose between the 2!)

ETA: I did the first workout on Amy's & liked it. I've been on a kbell hiatus so I haven't tried the rest.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Lalo!!!!!

Hi Kath, thanks for the links. Actually, the decision about what to BUY was made, LOL, I got both the Lalofit and Amys KB dynamics. Just previewed Amys and it actually looks quite good. She sweats up a storm, LOL!! I know the slow technique is very effective, so I got Lalofit, but I think I am definitely going to have to use some music or something, it seems rather boring, but good moves. I will sit here trying to decide between the two, with my workout only an hour away, and I would not be surprised if when the time comes I pull down something completely different! I need to set up another rotation, but right now I am trying to decide which workouts will be IN the rotation before I design it. I NEVER used to do set rotations, but since P90X it seems to work best for keeping me on track.

OK, that does it, it is Lalo today. I don't think I could do Amy's kbs after Lalo's freeze method, haha. It looks from the preview I did that he works shoulders a LOT, but that is fine, I love great looking shoulders and work mine a lot anyway. What is it that really clicks with you about Lalofit???

Sorry. I thought you said you got your Collage catalogue; now I see it's your order.

I still read your original question as looking for feedback on these workouts, so the links I dug up for you should still "work," regardless of the fact you already have them.

I do use clips and search through threads / reviews to decide what workout to do, but I realize that's probably not normal.

Lalo!

It is definitely a bit of shoulder overkill. What I like is that it is easy to follow and seems simple but my HR really gets up there. My muscles feel thoroughly worked too. It was rated intermediate at collage, but I jump rope during his short breaks and I am exhausted when it's over. I like the music which kind of reminds me of the beats you'd hear in a Timbalan song. I'm sure it's not for everyone, but I LOVE it!

LOL. I'm sure Lalo is easy on the eyes for you ladies, and I just want to add that his workout is great because it is a no-nonsense, just-do-it type of workout. It is challenging, but doesn't hold any dread factor.

He does work the shoulders a lot and I have deeper striations in my shoulders just from doing this vid regularly.

I think you'll enjoy it, RedFlame!

And yes....Lalo is cool.

Let me know what you think of Kettlebell Dynamics when you do it.....mine is on the way.
