How do you rotate the new Pure Barres?

I have recently got the new Pure Barres (Pure Results: seat, thighs and abs DVDs) and I was wondering how to rotate them?

I feel like every day is too much for me (overworking similar muscles?)

I also have the original Pure Barre (which I love) and some of the other ones (which I like less).

So- if you use Pure Barre solely, how do you use them? A day of cardio in between? Every day? Thinking of a fall rotation and wondering how to manage it.

Thanks in advance!

When you take classes at the studio you can definitely go every day. When I have them in heavy rotation I alternate with weights. I think. These are fine to do every day, or two on, one off type of thing. You don't use heavy enough weights to overtrain in my opinion.

Thanks for the bump and the reply!

I'm finding them pretty tough (especially the abs and seat one) and this week I've felt a bit achy so I think for me, I will alternate with cardio.

I agree the weights are light so you won't overtrain; but I think for me daily might be a bit much. (Wish I COULD do them daily! They're fun.)

Thanks again.

Are they an hour long? I know Pure Barre's dvd routines are sometimes shorter than the stated length.

PB Pure Results are about 60min long each.

I have all 4, and after I'm done with Jessica Smith's 30-day walking set in September, I plan to alternate each PBPR every other day throughout the month of October. I'll probably do cardio and/or stretch on the other days but I won't put any pressure on myself to do it all. Pure Results will be my main focus.

I've been trying to figure out the same thing. I am in love with the new PBs. Like Dana, I am alternating them with Edge Booty and Jessica Smith 30 Day Plan. EBE is intense, PB moderate, and Jessica just plain feels good. So depending on my energy level, I choose one and go.

I go to classes at my local PB studio twice a week (or if I can't make the class due to work I do one of the newer PB DVDs), one day of more traditional weight training, two pure cardio days, and one yoga day with 20 min of cardio. It seems to work pretty well for me.
