Form is very important. I don't do Tae Bo because the side kicks always feel off to me. I watch what they're doing and I listen to the instructions, but I know I'm doing something wrong. I also couldn't do Calanetics because it caused me to have back pain like I've never felt before. I was sad to give that up because I really liked the exercises. I thought my form was good, but I guess not.

It could be that those types of exercises just don't agree with your body. You could be following the form correctly, but there could be something in the way your body is designed that makes those movements uncomfortable. It doesn't mean anything is wrong w/ you - we are all just different!

Hmm, I never thought of that, Donna. The side kicks have you leaning to the side and some of the Calanetics exercises also have you leaning. Maybe I should just keep standing straight.
