ChelePA, Oh yes! There was a thread recently with someone on youtube who has some great chair workouts that really get the heart rate up there. If you want me to I'll try to look up who it was. I squirreled away that info for "just in case".

kittybug, do you live somewhere where earthquakes are to be expected? Sounds like you probably are. I think it's pretty common to want to get out of the building as quickly as possible!

Linda, I want to thank you for the premix tip on Intensity's boot camp! That was a great way to do it -- I did the cardio first and then the lower/upper body combo. I did skip core, so that's not so great, but I added on my glute "PT" work that I'm working on.

Ok, I've been working on this for a long time... keep getting interrupted by my 20 year old who wants to talk and talk and talk.

ChelePA, it's not a silly complaint...music (or lack thereof) can make or break a workout for me!

Bee, we don't typically get earthquakes but I suppose there is always the potential given our geography.

I managed to get through Michelle's Cardio Interval Burn as planned, yay! It wasn't pretty, but I showed up, hah!!

Stay safe and fierce, my friends!!

Today I did CTX—kickboxing portion with my weighted gloves and also one of the ab chapters. I really enjoyed it! I’ve also been checking out chair workouts on YouTube. I sampled a few yesterday. Definitely can kick the heart rate up! I was disappointed because many of them don’t have music. Lots of talking throughout. But overall good workouts! I like to move to a beat. I know I can add my own music. Just a silly complaint.
Yeah, I will never forget that feeling. I don’t EVER want to experience anything more than that and I think what we felt was really minor and residual. So sorry Kittybug had to experience the earthquake.

And not a silly complaint at all about the lack of music. I would be wallowing in self pity if I broke my foot. Your resolve to keep going is really inspiring.

I did a Leslie walk today during my lunch break. I think I’ll do Cardio and Weights now. Hopefully I will work off some of the calories in the ice cream (from Manning’s, ChelePA) I ate for dinner. I had to make room in the freezer for the real food. Good reason, huh?

We love Mannings!!! Last year, my daughter had one of their ice cream cakes for Easter breakfast since she gave it up for lent.

Cataddict, I wish I had known about Cathe as far back as 1996!!
kittybug sometimes the victory is in digging in and showing ...good job! If my cat could talk, I'm sure she'd say the way im doing it ain't ever pretty! Hehe

And I wish I hadn't been so scared of doing Cathe when I first joined VF! All this time she could have been kicking my butt....sigh....

cataddict Don't forget to post your thoughts on PH when you do it.

bee I am glad my premix helped you! Here's something kind of funny. I did it Sunday. Yesterday when I was doing my pilates workout my obliques were STILL sore. She does this side plank where you rotate and dip your elbow to the floor...I'm pretty sure that's where I obliterated my obliques. Been trying to stretch them out every day since, lol!

Muscle Endurance is on tap today...First gotta find my Wonder Woman britches as Kittybug says!!

The salted caramel is my favorite flavor. The bad part is I drive past one of their stores on my way home from work (well, I used to...). I am usually pretty good about resisting but my willpower gave in. So cute about your daughter having ice cream cake for breakfast after lent.

Cardio and Weights is so good! The cardio combos are just great fun and the weight segments are short and sweet. It’s not too brutal either. I haven’t done this one in many years but I used to do it a lot.

Yesterday was High Reps. Felt really good after doing STS Total Body, a PHA and step from Intensity. What especially felt good were the leg work using gliders. Felt like a nice balance to heavier weight work and intense cardio.

Kittybug, how are you doing, my friend? One of our closest friends is from Boise and his parents still live there. We checked and they are ok but I know ya'll are still recovering from the shock and scare of it all. Please take good care of yourself and yay for you for showing up to do a Michelle workout! You are a ROCKSTAR!!!

How is everyone today? Please share how you are doing!

So today I did two chair workouts since they’re shorter in duration. My abs and hips were really feeling it. Just wish there was music and that the moves were to the beat. I played some in the background but just not the same.

Hi girls! Wow, earthquakes, viruses...sheesh...don't need anymore of that!
Hope everyone is still doing well. I'm getting anxious for my oldest son who does not have much for cleaning supplies! I can't find any disinfectant online at all so I may end of mailing him what I have. He's high risk (heart and lung issues) so I worry.

I've been searching also for some work-at-home jobs. My boss says he's calling me back as soon as possible, but I'm nervous. I have always worked. I don't like not working.

Anyway..STAY SAFE you all!

Yesterday I did Michelle's Peak 10 Cardio Strength Remix. I actually didn't like this as much as some of her other CS workouts, but it was still good. Still a sweaty workout!

Today I did an OLD Cathe from 1999. I'm not sure how I got out of chronological order on this one. Hey! Fun! The outfits were VERY dated, but the workout was good stuff! Nothing overly complicated with the choreo but still had some fun moves. This workout is where Cathe introduces plyo lunges (she says) and flying angels. All good!

Tomorrow I'm going to leave open and just do whatever I feel. I'm thinking total body strength.

Big waves to ChelePA, manleym, Kim, kittybug, Linda, bee, cataddict and anyone else I might have missed. One thing is constant in this crazy time...we're ALL FIERCE and we're ALL DEDICATED! Keep up the great work!
