Leslie Sansone 2-Mile Walk from 2002

I hadn’t done this one in a long time so pulled it out this morning because I remember enjoying the variety in her older workouts. I wonder why she got away from that - she still used basic steps but put them together with more variety - her arm movements had a lot more variety than later workouts as well. Her current workouts have a little more variety again, but I like they way those early workouts were done. I also really like the camera angle from above - not directly overhead, but up just enough that you could see everyone in the class really well.

this is why Leslie is one of the few where i have kept all of her workouts - the older ones do have variety, i get to see the old gang, different settings, different music, etc.

out of curiosity, which 2-miler is this? she issued several that year (WATP Express, Deluxe Walk Special Edition, Firm Walk, Walk Strong).

This just says “Two Mile Walk with Leslie Sansone”. It’s in a box set called “Walk the Walk” along with two other DVDs - Miracle Mike Walk and Weight Loss Walk. None of the background exercisers are her “regulars” - they come out one at a time and Leslie introduces them and tells how much weight they’ve each lost. Mary Kay does show up in the intro, however, when they each discuss how much they like the program.

I think this is the one you mean. Leslie is wearing a black skort in the workout. (Remember when skorts were in style?) I have it and rarely do it because it has too many moves, LOL! And goes too fast. I can't daydream through it like most of her workouts.

I saw that on Amazon recently and thought about getting to stock up. It was the skort on the cover that had me questioning this one. Hmmm, I may have get it now.

I had never done any Leslie workouts consistently until recently (kind of just off/on over the years). But now that I'm needing lighter walking workouts, her older ones from the Walk Slim series are awesome! The Walk Slim 4 Fast Miles is a huffer puffer (the one with water breaks). I'm also quite impressed with her music in these older ones, it's quite uptempo and fun.
