good reason to keep "easy" workouts

I woke up at 3:50 am this morning, and could not fall back to sleep (sigh!).

I still wanted to get in some movement, so I did Yoga Booty Ballet's "Light and Easy" workout. It isn't much of a calorie burner, but it did get to move for almost forty minutes, so that counts for something ! I hope to have energy for some other light cardio later, but if I don't, at least I did something.

What are your favorite workouts for days when your energy is REALLY low?

Thanks!

My go to for low energy days is Winsor Bun & Thigh sculpting. It's not necessarily easy but some days I just want to lay down and workout. No matter how tired or low energy I am, I can usually manage that workout.

It is a very good idea to have floor workouts for those days! I almost did stretchy floor yoga, but I thought I'd end up dozing off on the floor !

Yes, always keep easy workouts for those days you feel "blah" but want to do something. I usually do a Jenny Ford beginner workout on those days- her march across america on Prime is great!

I often use Richard Simmon’s DVDs for lite days.

Jessica Smith's (youtube) Dance Stretch and Steady State Cardio. Her Feel Good Fusion Cardio (dvd) is good too. When my back is acting up I use Jessica's (youtube) 20 minute back friendly total body strength.

Thank you for the reminder! The music would be very motivating.

I haven't done it in a while, but my go to easy workout used to be Cindy Crawford's A New Dimension. It has 2 shorter workouts, 12 and 16 minutes, along with a 40 minute workout.

I have saved some of my older Gilad workouts for days when I want something easier.
