sue - Yes, they are paper workouts. The program comes with video demonstrations of all the exercises plus short clips of Lauren giving pointers about each workout. These are only clips to demonstrate the moves, not follow along workouts.

This sounds good-Lauren knows her stuff. I would get this because I love paper programs but many kettlebell moves are off limits to me so I design my own workouts. I cannot do swings, cleans, and snatches so I usually sub thrusters for those moves. Honestly the moves I can do don't even require a kettlebell but I have more kettlebells than dumbbells so that is what I use most of the time.

I ordered the second it hit my inbox, despite it being a very slow-buy year for me. The original Be SLAM was fantastic, despite the fact that I normally prefer to work out weight-wise with DVDs. I was hoping she would put out a sequel to it at some point. I don't have the time or funds for a personal trainer, so $39.99 for ten well-planned workouts seems like a great deal. Here's hoping for a Be SLAM 3 in the future!

Hallelujah glutes, which is the first workout, took me twenty-nine minutes this morning. I might be able to shorten that a bit in the future since I was figuring out which bells I could use to go as heavy as possible while keeping good form, but still not hit failure prematurely. I did all three sections. HTH!
