I'm Finally Able to Incorporate Workouts

Well, for those of you that constantly hear me say....I've been injured...it's been a bit over 2 years since my severe car accident where I fractured 9 ribs and had herniated discs with compression fractures of discs......................and I had a method to my madness to strengthen my rib area and other areas to try to lift again ..............

I did Kundalini since the accident....started out very modified....now I'm to the point of doing it with hardly ANY modifications!! Yay....I've incorporated Hatha/Power Yoga to further strengthen my core/chest, etc.....to get ready to lift. Now I'm to the point of doing full planks and chataranga's...(however I am having to be a bit careful with that due to shoulder pain if I overdo).

I have been incorporating Essentrics/Classical Stretch to get ready.....yay!

Now, I've advanced to Kettlebell's, weights, Pilates Reformer, modified kickboxing and I have to sprinkle them in as I'm not yet quite there.

I feel truly BLESSED and for those that are not believers in the Lord.....the Universe has blessed me!!!! or Karma...whatever you call it.

Granted, I still have to constantly foam roll, massage and do trigger point therapy, craniosacral massages, etc.......but boy do I feel I've made leaps and bounds of achievement.

Plus I recently dropped 25 pounds which I feel great about!!! I'm on the road.

Just wanted to share this since I've done my share of complaining on this Board!!!

Congrats Lora! I know it has been a long, hard, sometimes frustrating road but you are getting there. You are so strong and inspiring. Keep up the good work.
