dog days rowing challenge!

this is one of the best challenges to get you back into rowing

each week is a little more distance

it's also an excellent time to break in rowing shoes

http://log.concept2.com/challenge/events/dogdays.asp

(from the concept2 site)
Dog Days of Summer

The Dog Days of Summer runs from August 128 and features a different total distance goal each week.
The Details

Row or ski, indoors or outdoors, completing each of the following four distance goals during the timeframes indicated and log them in your online logbook:
Week 1, Aug. 17: 10,000 meters
Week 2, Aug. 814: 20,000 meters
Week 3, Aug. 1521: 30,000 meters
Week 4, Aug. 2228: 40,000 meters
The distance goals do not have to be done in one sitting, but must be done during the timeframe indicated. By the end of the challenge, you will have accumulated 100,000 meters.

I will join you! I purchased my rower in January, and I haven't used it to its full potential. This will be great to get back into the swing of things, thank you!

I found a good deal on a WaterRower on Craigslist and I'm picking it up this weekend. Does anybody know where i can find some good beginner level rowing workouts?

Thanks. I'm looking forward to getting into rowing. I assume any of the Concept 2 workouts can still be done just fine using a Water Rower?

Anyone have a great place to buy a Concept 2? I am looking at Rogue Fitness who I like dealing with, but just doing some due diligence to see if I can find a better price since it's some pretty serious scratch.

Thanks!!
