Sad discovery in my attic

So I was cleaning out my attic and found a box full of VHS tapes of some of my most beloved workouts. I hadn't seen these since we moved two years ago, and seeing them made me sad! I have so many great workouts on VHS that I will probably never replace because of cost, like all the Firms and old Cathes. Made me a little nostalgic and sad! I don't have a VHS player anymore, but I just can't part with these tapes!

Or just buy a vhs player. Not that expensive new. Also, see them all the time at the thrift. I bought a few extras just to make sure vhs is always an option.

We have a VHS/DVD converter. Someone you know should have one, or have the ability to do this for you. When in doubt, ask a kid between 15-22 years old. Man, they can figure everything out.

I was never so happy to convert all my VHS home movie tapes to DVD because they were degrading in quality so badly - I'd definitely look into it. You can probably pay someone to do it but I'm not sure that makes much sense. You just need to get your hands on a VHS and hook it to the DVD and buy writeable DVD's and/or get a combo machine. I bet they do have some options for you at the thrift shop/Salvation Army etc.

How's Craigslist in your area? Might be worth looking for the machines on there, or someone to convert even.

Geez, when I saw this thread title, I thought you were gonna say something like you found a dead cat or squirrel in the attic.

I found a used vcr for six bucks at the Salvation Army store. Much cheaper than conversion.

I have a VCR/DVD combo player that converts. But it won't convert Firm videos (or at least not Tough Tape 1) and a couple of old yoga videos due to copyright protection. It has converted a lot of other videos though.
