Good Stretch Segments?

Hi - since more and more instructors are skipping the cool down/stretch...and I'm rather sick of using cathe all of the time....who else makes adequate stretches 5 min's or so for us 55 plus peeps? thanks in advance.

Do you have any of the Ten Minute Solution series? Almost all of those offer a nice ten minute stretch segment. I find myself reaching for them when I want a longer stretch. A couple of my favorites includes the Suzanne Bowen Pilates Perfect Body and the Amy Bento Tone Trouble Zones.

For me, nothing beats Slim & Limber from the Slim in 6 program.

I also like some of Fitness Blender's offerings. Go to their Youtube channel and search for "stretch."

My favorite oldie but goodie is Tamilee Webb's stretch DVD--I think it's called Total Body Stretch. There are three ten-minute segments, one standing, one sitting, one on the mat--plus a half-hour stretch. I don't often do the half-hour stretch. I prefer stretches that don't require any changes in elevation!

Kathy Smith has some good short stretching segments (no longer than 15 minutes) on her two Ageless DVDs - Staying Strong and Total Body Turnaround.

I just used Slim & Limber again today. I also like the stretches on the 10 MS dvd's.

Amy Bento has an Abs and Stretch DVD which is good. I also like the stretch on S90.

Jessica Smith's Bonus Stretch on her Six Mile Mix DVD is a good one.

Good Jessica stretches on Youtube:

10 Minute Chair Stretch
5 Minute Fix: Stretch Routine
10 Minute Flexibility Training
8 Minute Total Body Stretch
Fit in 15: Chair Yoga

I could go on, but here's the listing: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...8jpkIY6Fe9TzLZ

Aside from Jessica Smith's You Tube stretches - I recommend Sarah Beth's Yoga channel on You Tube- she has some good yoga practices that are mostly stretchy.
