IceQueen, have you tried bodyweight workouts? I remembered previously not getting any upper body definition until I did more bodyweight type exercises -- pushups, planks, chin ups, etc. Incorporating stuff like KBKB was good, because it has tons of those type moves in it (well, except the chin ups!). I really tightened up with Weider X-Factor XT. I also remember my lower body really showing definition when I incorporated more explosive lower body stuff, like when I was doing Cathe Xtrain and recently when I was doing KBKB and Atletica. Worth a shot.

I've given up on using exercise to lose weight and inches. I'm just not burning off that many calories even though it feels like I am. For me it's all about what I eat. I wish it wasn't, I'd love to just work out!! I find that I can easily overeat "clean" foods. I try not to even think about foods that way anymore. It sounds like you're eating at a maintenance level which is fine. It was a real eye opener using a calorie counting app. I weighed and measured for a few weeks just to get the hang of it and now I go from there. If my results slow down I know I have to tighten things up. It's a process.

I'm 7 weeks into the regular Xtrain rotation. I've done it before so I sub out different KB and metabolic workouts for variety sake. I enjoy Cathe live too. But I don't get into the mindset that these workouts will make or break my results. I want to enjoy exercise for how it makes me feel. Sadly there's no magic workout for me, just ones that I enjoy.

Hope that wasn't too much diet talk!!

Jane
