BennerFit = DB Lite

I read a post a while ago in which someone referred to BennerFit as DB Lite and I always meant to give the workouts a try. Well, I've finally gotten around to it and I have no idea how more people aren't raving about these great circuits! Plus, they're free! They're great ad ons or you can do the same circuit back-to-back 3 or 4 times for a pretty decent workout.

Apparently, the founder is a Bob Harper something or the other and is also a Cardio Barre instructor. But, I've been doing her workouts as add ons and am super impressed!! None are more than 15 minutes and they're thorough. I have no idea what's making her offer these circuits for free. But, I'm not complaining.

Anyone out there know more about this instructor or has tried these circuits? Very curious to know what other VF'ers think. Maybe I'm just crazy? Here are links to her workouts:

I don't know anything about them, but thanks for posting. The other day I was trying to find them on Youtube and could not remember the name. I knew I saw them listed on VF. Off to bookmark and try them out!

Never heard of them but they look great and lots of variety! I think I'll finally figure out how to copy to DVD. Thank you for sharing! :)

It was me. I posted a link on the "free" thread. :)

Those look really good and I have downloaded several. I just have one question. What is the "DB" in the title?

DB = dream body. I tried one of these workouts, but I'm not much for add-ons and piecing things together. I thought it would be fun to try them if they were like Dream Body but a bit easier.

Well, I'm just as glad I didn't know what it meant, then, because I have no desire to do DB, mainly because of the frantic pace I've read about. The little I watched of these seemed to be a more moderate pace - probably why the poster labeled them "DB LITE". ;)

Great find! How on earth did you run across these workouts? Makes me wonder what other hidden gems are out there.

BennerFit pace is definitely manageable - nothing like DB. I really like DB. But, I understand why some people think the pace is frenetic. BennerFit is nothing like that as the moves are very controlled and focused. The instructor is apparently a former dancer. Typically, dancers are very careful about proper form since they're accustomed to trying to avoid injuries. BennerFit is the same way. She provides lots of form pointers throughout and is very serious about positioning your body correctly.

Thanks for sharing the info on these! I love DB, and it's nice to know that there are similar workouts out there that aren't quite as intense! :)
