Is this really the latest fitness craze?

I've never heard of it if that's the case.

It looks like Cirque du Soleil. I'd probably fall on my head if I did what they are doing in the last photo.

She looks like she's about to lose her britches (or breeches, if you're not country, LOL) in that last photo...

There is a studio in my relatively small city that offers Anti-Gravity yoga, and it appears to be pretty popular. I was actually thinking of trying it, but they're way across the harbour and it seems like a PITA to get there, especially since the classes always fill to capacity so I wouldn't be guaranteed a spot. It looks really fun!

Looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen ;). Although just hanging out in that cocoon looks relaxing.

From my point of view it looks like a retinal detachment waiting to happen. lol.

(but then I just had a traumatic vitreous detachment thanks to a soccer ball, so my retina is at risk right now.... it just makes me wince thinking about hanging upside down!)

Anti-gravity yoga has been around for a while. I had a chance to try it a few months ago and thought it was interesting. The supported inversions felts absolutely incredible on my back - you can almost feel the spine lengthen - and it offert valuable support in some stretches. Other poses were a little awkward though and I did not feel there was as much free flow as I like from yoga.

That first photo is just creepy. Imagine walking into the room when they're all cocooned like that.

Is this the same as aerial yoga? My Zumba instructor, already certified in yoga and Pilates, is about to become certified in aerial yoga.

I think I could find better uses of my workout time.
