Zgym
Not really a new release, but Zuzana posted about ZGYM on Facebook. It's in her latest blog on her website. It opens 6-10-13. My laptop doesn't like her website so I can't provide any information. Can someone post information?

I don't think there is a lot yet, but I've been watching it b/c I think I'm going to do it. It will be $10 a month. My determining factor will be if I have to stream (can't) or if the workouts can be downloaded for off line use.
ZWOWz from #71 on will only be available there. She's also going to have a beginners series available, and there will be an new cardio oriented series: ZSHRED. |
I am excited! I just discovered her workouts (yes im late jumping on this bandwagon) and I LOVE them. I just ordered all her dvds so I am officially a ZWarrior! hehehehe

Wow, no more free workouts after ZWOW 70. I'm glad she's managed to establish herself outside Bodyrock.tv and her ex husband but I'm not inclined to do any subscriptions because I don't really trust myself to do them all. This is another reason I prefer DVDs to streaming.
That said, ZShred sounds very interesting and $10 is very reasonable compared to some other things out there. Maybe once I finish my love affair with Montenegro Method I'll check this out. |
I noticed there have been a lot of nasty comments on Zuzana's page regarding zGym. There are a few people who have calculated that she could make x amount of dollars per month and that the subscribers would be funding her extravagant lifestyle, blah, blah, blah. IMO, I think it's pretty unfair. Any thoughts?

Without getting too political, there are some areas where I believe in more socialism, but this is not one of them. :/ |

People are showing their true colors: They loved her when it was free and they didn't have to put any skin in the game Now that she is going to a pay site she is EVIL. I didn't use her Youtube workouts because I don't like working from my computer unless I have too, so I probably won't pay for her site. I do think 10.00 is reasonable. I did purhase her cardio and will purchase her weight DVD. I say more power to her. If somemone gets paid for doing what they love then I am happy for them. That is how it should be. |
I think a lot of the negativity she is getting is due to the fact that she isn't exactly NOT making money on the free workouts. Every click brings her money; she makes a lot from advertisers, etc. People feel she is being "greedy" wanting more money. I can see being upset for having to pay for something that was, in the past, free. I can't see why people are being SOOOO hateful!! I felt really bad for Zuz when reading the comments.
I guess I could see being upset if we were going to have to pay $10/month to get "only" one workout per week. Although, even that averages to $2.31/week for the year. Not too shabby! However, she has said she will have more than that; a Zwow, Zshred, and I think some type of beginners workout, plus recipes, etc. I think if that is offered every week, $10/month is waaaaay more than fair! Now, if she puts out workouts only once per month, or just shows us what to do as opposed to doing it with us real time, I think $10 is overpriced. Of course, I don't like those that give you the moves and then say "ok, do 30 reps of that and then repeat on the other side." I guess I am more of a work along type person. Probably why I didn't get on with Jillian Michaels' workouts. Carrie |

Carrie ETA: downloads would also be a good idea becuase her website is TERRIBLE. It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow and doesn't load well (at least for me). |
