ZCUT has ARRIVED
As I mentioned in another thread, I was very surprised at the fast shipping. I paid for expedited shipping ($5 and change) and received my order which was shipped from CA to PA in two days.
You receive three dvds in separate cases. The dvds are PRESSED and not DVDr. There is no music during the workouts. The calendar is a large poster type calendar which includes a rotation for four weeks ....... basically you do one workout a day for five days (two days off.) Example: In week 1, you will do workouts # 1 - #5 on the days scheduled. The calendar does have a few healthy tips thrown, but just reminders to eat certain foods (the reminders are just fillers on the calendar and nothing extensive.) Z looks amazing (when doesn't she ever.) The workouts contain only her from what I have viewed ..... she takes her time to explain each exercise before the workout and does offer some form pointers. I have viewed Disc 1 and it contains the following: Warm-Up (it only has one warmp-up which you will use for all the workout days.) Workout #1 Workout #2 Workout #3 Workout #4 Cool-down (I did not view this one.) Bonus Abs (I did not view this one.) Here is what I did view: Warm-Up (no music and no clock) 10 Walkouts to Push-Ups 10 Air Squats 10 Reverse Lunges (alternating 5 each side) 10 Side Lunges (alternating 5 each side) 10 RDL Stretches 10 Side-Twists on Ground (5 each side) Workout #1 (contains only the exercises and no warm-up, cool down ..... you select those separately) (no music but you have a clock) In the beginning of the workout Z demonstrates each of the exercises. You will do a total of the following exercises by the end of the workout: 50 Burpees 10 Jump Tucks 20 Jump Lunges 30 Kick Ups 40 Jack Kicks Workout #1 is as follows: 10 Burpees 10 Jump Tucks 10 Burpees 20 Jump Lunges 10 Burpees 30 Kick Ups 10 Burpees 40 Jack Kicks 10 Burpees These exercises last for 8 minutes and 46 seconds and Z then says that she should have done more Burpees which she starts to do. She does 10 more Burpees which takes the total workout time to 9 minutes and 52 seconds. She ends by marching in place (this is now the end of the workout.) I took a quick look at Workout #2 and it follows the same format as Workout #1. (Z demonstrates each move and then goes straight into the exercises.) Workout #2 has seven exercises and contain some of the following: Prisoners Get-Up Side Lunges Skaters Plyo Jumps I am very happy with my purchase ....... you can't beat the price especially being that for $15 you get 277 minutes of exercises and the dvds are pressed ...... yep I am very happy! |
I am so excited. Cannot wait to get mine!!!!! I should have paid 3 more bucks for faster shipping. Gah! Thanks for you pre-review!
|
Great review, does that mean that the workouts are less than 15 minutes a day 5 days a week?
|
Got my DVDs today too, but I didn't pay expedited shipping. I seriously couldn't believe that these showed up at my door today...fastest shipping EVER! Off to preview...

I would have liked music but just need to get some sort of a speaker system for my ipod (hopefully there will be something compatable with my shuffle) because I also have the new Skogg and haven't done it yet, because of the no music. LOL regarding the burpee comment!:D |
I ordered today!

Thanks for the review, Lapis! Sounds good and I really want to order these.
I'm just worried that the workouts, although they are intense, are too short? I'm confused about this. |
I'm confused too. If a workout is 20 minutes, even if intense, I don't feel sufficiently "worked out." It sounds like each daily workout is about 10 minutes long (which really wouldn't be enough for me), and that each of the 3 DVDs contains 4 10-minute workouts (i.e., 4 days of workouts). However, you say that the calendar suggests 5 days of workouts and 2 days off. Is that right? Are you supposed to repeat one of the 4 workouts twice in 1 week?
