Yoga/Pilates/Fusion DVDs?
I am enjoying some yoga/pilates/fusion workouts, but I am interested in some different ones. I am not a serious yoga person--I like the more "moving in warrior II" stuff. Does this fit the "power yoga" description? I would consider myself high int. probably. For example, I enjoy the Crunch Fat Burning Yoga, Minna Strength and Grace, Breakthru Pilates Plus, but I am ready for something more challenging. Suggestions appreciated...

Donna Read and Helen Vanderburg have this one that combines the two and is definitely a bit more challenging:

Reach by Kari Anderson is great.

- I've heard good things about Reach, but haven't tried it myself.
- For a real challenge, I would suggest some of the Istretch routines from Itrain.com. They are more yoga then pilates - as opposed to a total fusion, but they're excellent! - You might also like Yogalites (I've done levels II and III). - Angles Lines and Curves II is also a good fusion workout - I traded it, but I found it to be great for flexibility and particularly lower abs (I felt them the next day even though I didn't think I would while doing the workout). - You might also like Breakthru Pilates Sculpt. |
I second Kari's Reach recommendation. (And you can get it at Ross for $4.99).

I second Reach and Angles, Lines and Curves II by Kari Anderson. Yogilates is also good. If you use Itrain workouts, you might try Istretch combinations.

Ellen Barrett's Super Slimdown is good. Yoga/Pilates blend.

I second the Ellen Barret one. I really enjoy it.

All the Right Moves by Grace Lazenby is excellent! You can try getting it on Amazon marketplace if they have it.
