Where to buy resistance bands

I know there have been threads on this before, but I guess I didn't pay too much attention because I didn't need a recommendation then. I've always bought Dyna Bands for ramping class from Fitness Wholesale. Yesterday, though, I had a very bad experience with one of their customer service reps and I decided I will tear the elastic out of my underpants and use it before I will order from them again. I normally buy the 6-foot Dyna Bands and they come in 4 different resistance levels - I only use three, though. The lightest resistance was too light for anyone really. Any recommendations on where to get something similar? I wouldn't even mind finding bands that had more resistance levels just so the students have something to move up to if they want. I like the 6-foot length, though, and the 6-inch width.

I bought a Dyna band through Amazon w/ no issues.

I purchased a pair of Stott Pilates Flex Bands from Amazon. These are really nice & long (6.5'). Shipping cost for the pair was same as shipping for a single band.

It comes with a blue & green band. The firmer band (blue) is about the resistance of the Power Fit purple band, not super heavy. The green band is typical of many bands that come with 10 Minute Solutions, or Leslie Sansone videos.

I love Cathe's Flat bands. I get mine from amazon.com but some people have found them at discount prices at Tuesday Morning.

I checked Amazon, but I'm hoping to find them cheaper. A single band purchase isn't bad, but I need to buy enough for the entire class, so I need to find the best deal I can.

How many do you need?

Cathe is having a sale right now and if you buy 10 or more items (including fitness bands) you can save 30% plus get free shipping; which could be a huge savings! She also has 15-20% coupons as well and the deals go until the end of March.

Cathe is having March specials and while the bands are not on special through the daily bargain there is a quantity discount on amount purchased and free shipping over $50. The bands are 3 different resistance levels for $19.99 and if you order in quantity you can get 15% (1 to 3 use CATHE1) 20% (4 to 9 - CATHE4) or 30% (10 or more CATHE10) off.

They do sell these in a roll, you cut the lengths you need. You might look for "physical therapy" type bands. The only problem, I'm not sure how to tell the what the resistance is.
