Fusion Fitness Cardio presale

http://www.fusionfitness.com/fusion-...94&id=24687255

Dream Body Cardio Series is estimated to ship the week of 7/15/13!

Dream Body Cardio Series will get your body toned and tightened in no time! The series includes five new classes, each full of challenging cardio and muscle sculpting moves to change the way you look and feel. Burn off stored fat, skinny your waistline, define your arms and perfect your buns! You may break each of these workouts into 25–30 minute workouts.

This DVD series includes:

Disc 1 / M.I.L.F. (Max Interval Laced with Fusion) with Darby
Not your mama's workout... this workout will have you looking like you’re 20 again! Start off with 30 minutes of max cardio intervals which increase in intensity while decreasing in time. This method is extremely effective. The intervals repeat 3 times, allowing you to perfect the moves. The last 30 minutes wrap up with isolated toning exercises focused on your buns, arms, and abs. (55 minutes)

Disc 2 / inTENse with Sadie
We call this inTENse for a reason, get ready to get sweaty in this total body workout. inTENse is broken into six, ten-minute segments alternating between cardio, arms, and abs. The separation allows complete burnout in each muscle area. This is one inTENse hour of shocking your body! (60 minutes)

Disc 3 / FUSION 50 with Brooke
No excuses to skip your workout with this option! Knock out your cardio and toning in less than an hour—we make every minute of this workout count with a challenging fat-burning cardio sequence followed by 15 minutes of burnout in your buns, arms, and hamstrings. (50 minutes)

Disc 4 / BATA BARRE with Francie
You don’t have to be a ballerina to look like one! Bata Barre combines two favorites— 30 minutes of cardio tabatas and 30 minutes of barre for the lengthened strength of a dancer. Get your cardio fix with powerful sets of tabatas, and then get ready to shake as you define your legs and booty. You'll wonder where your new body was hiding all this time after spending an hour at this barre! (60 minutes)

Disc 5 / BIKINI BOOTCAMP with Amy
Cardio and abs to the max! This Bikini Bootcamp puts a twist on traditional kickboxing by adding a resistance band for an extra challenge—your arms and core will be on fire throughout the hour while keeping your heart-rate up for serious calorie burn. Conclude with specific ab exercises, and then get ready to strut your sexy self.
(60 minutes)

Equipment used: yoga mat • 2lb weights • playground ball • resistance band • paper plates • circular band

Combine these workouts with a healthy diet and you’ll see your body change in no time. Take it to the next level and shock your body with this Dream Body Cardio Workout!

Who's biting?!:D

I just started a thread about this but I see you have more info than I did! Their email said the pre-sale price is $129.00. If that's the pre-"sale" price, I can't imagine what the actual price is going to be.

I wish I could get these as I have been anticipating them, but I just can't right now with some big, unexpected expenses DH & I have endured lately.

pcramer 06-13-13 11:56 AM

I don't know why I am so excited, I too scared to try the first set.... lol

Too bad buying exercise DVDs doesn't burn fat and build muscle, I'd be in shape already!!!! :o

Oh, I don't think they are naive. They know exactly what that acronym *usually* means.

prettyinpink 06-13-13 12:04 PM

I'm tempted. I really like and use the other DB DVDs.

I wonder why these are called "cardio." From the descriptions they sound very similar to the other workouts which I already think of as cardio because of the pace.

A couple of them sound a little weird, like Bata barre?

Oh no, I meant I was naive because I didn't know, lol.

Maybe they meant: MILF is an acronym that may refer to: Moro Islamic Liberation Front, a militant
Islamist group located in the southern Philippines. In adult popular culture.

But then again, maybe not..... lol :p

Don't feel bad, I didn't know what it was either... Guess I'm getting old.

My thoughts exactly. I only have the Tabata/Toning and Fusion Mix, but my heart rate stays up high enough and long enough that I use them as cardio. And I thought there was already a bikini bootcamp and barre in the first series?

I noticed that their first series is $99 on their site. I wonder if I have the willpower to wait for the price on this new series to come down?

Fitstick 06-13-13 12:26 PM

5 workouts for $129 sounds very expensive, that is over $25 per workout... I will wait for reviews. I still have the last set that I barely got started with anyways!!:)

momofcha 06-13-13 12:31 PM

Am I missing something? Another Bikini Bootcamp with Amy? Is it the same workout?

It looks like it's a different workout, but same instructor.

In the preview clip, Darby also mentions that there is a "music off" option and a thirty-minute option for each workout.

Yeah, I re-read it, this one uses a band. interesting about the 30 min option. Sweet.

Also, I don't think it's a pre-sale "price" it's just a pre-sale. I imagine the price will remain the same as it's the same price as their first set.

I can't wait!!! This and Lauren's new one in July - It really is Christmas in July!!!

furmomof6 06-13-13 12:42 PM

After watching the clip I think these might be too high impact for me, but who knows. Maybe they can be modified. I also don't have a square step to put 20 risers under for bridge work like it looks like they are using! I'll be looking forward to reviews.

Sue, I think you may be right about the price. It's too bad they're not going with the typical concept of a "pre-sale" and lowering the price. I mean, what's the point then? Just so you're at the top of the list to have them shipped?? (Not you specifically, but "you" in general)

Where are you seeing a clip? I see a big ! ????

Also, I did contact them about a presale price and she told me that they wouldn't be doing that.

I was thinking the same thing -- that the "pre-sale" wasn't a special price, and would just get your shipped out sooner.

There are two clips on this page:

http://www.fusionfitness.com/fusion-...94&id=24687255

The first one wouldn't work for me, but if you look in the bottom left-hand corner, there's a smaller one that did play for me. :)

Edited to say: This link also seems to be a good one:

If you click on the link in the OP's post, it will bring you to the Fusion Fitness webpage. All the way at the bottom, after the new class descriptions, there is a video called "Check out the Dream Body Cardio Series Trailer".

Bummer about them not doing a cheaper pre-sale price! I don't know why I thought that was how they normally work.

Thanks, it felt rather negative, so I thought it was better to delete it. I'm glad people can feel excited about... five workouts for $130. LOL.

Thanks for the tip, I just viewed it. Now I'm even more excited, these are so right up my alley.

Yep, that's me. It's all relative. Would I rather it's cheaper? Sure, but I'm not going to get up in arms about it. The original dream body set is my most used set next to CLX and my Lauren's kettlebells ones (which were $40 EACH, so it's money well spent for me. I've spent only $17-20 on other DVDs that still are left untouched. And yes, I'm sure these will eventually come down in price like the others did - but I had them for 5 months prior to that, so it was worth it to me.

Sue B 06-13-13 02:37 PM

Marie, I'm with you. That's even worse than Rachel using the B-word as an acronym throughout FBB.

Wonder if they shout it throughout the workout... "Be the MILF! Come on, you're a MILF!" no, thanks.

m42 06-13-13 02:45 PM

I thought it stood for Max Interval Laced with Fusion. At least thats what it says on the website.

Really? LOL :D How incredibly insulting to older women. Who writes this stuff?

m42, it's a term popularized in the 90's by the movie American Pie. It stands for Mom I'd like to F---
Tacky name for a workout, IMO.

Yeah, their marketing and names leave a LOT to be desired... but unless they are screaming out the MILF comment in the workouts, I'm ok with it, if the content is worth it. I can overlook a lot, and hopefully this is no different. And honestly, I look better now than when I was in my 20s... :D

Yes, it does, but it's obviously a play on a commonly used pejorative that stands for something else altogether. Try Google, or use the Urban Dictionary. There's no way that wasn't intentional.

I'm glad people are excited about this set. I like some of the workouts from the DB set, but not enough to pay this much. I do hope Darby reads these threads, though, and recognizes that for the price she wants, she needs better production values, specifically:
  • Chaptering
  • Rehearsals! The modifiers need to know HOW they are to modify. They should not have to be cued every time, nor should they have to look questioningly at the instructor until they figure out how to make something lower in impact.
  • Premixes
  • Audio options such as "Cues only"

Just my .02. Hopefully that doesn't make people feel defensive. If you use workouts a lot, whatever you pay for them is worth it to me, IMO. I just think Darby's audience will stay limited at this price point unless she addresses the bigger production issues from the last set.

hotncmom 06-13-13 03:07 PM

Shammy, I look better too! Not skinnier, but definitely sexier...ask DH LOL.

m42 06-13-13 03:11 PM

I figured it was a play on words, but I really doubt that they will be shouting out milf during the workout. I want these even though they look very similar to the set I already have and never use. :o

ITA with you! I like the Dreambody set, but it would be so much better if it was more polished and rehearsed. In fusion mix, Darby shouldn't have to keep reminding the modifier to modify. ;)

mchelle81 06-13-13 03:32 PM

I want it I haven't bought any DVDs like I said I wouldn't since before Christmas, I said to myself I will use YouTube and the only ones I would buy would be anything from dream body I love them I even like the original one, I really like Darby her personality keep telling you to try, I have the 5 disc set but not used it often as the original one I think I would like Darby being at front in all of them, but I will probably get this set

cataddict 06-13-13 03:36 PM

I don't care for the MILF title (and there isn't a doubt in my mind that it was intentional--I think they were trying to be hip---as hip as you can be in KC MO lol), I'm not offended I just think it's tacky along with the references to looking 20 again. At 20 I smoked 3 packs a day and ate like crap and looked better than I deserved to but I have no interest in going back there. Like a number of others here, I also am in better condition NOW at 57 than I was at 20.

I'm not up in arms about the price since they can ask whatever they want IMHO, I am just not willing to pay it, even if this group of workouts is more polished than the first set. That said, they do look good to me and I may very well buy them when they come down in price. I can wait. I'm looking forward to reviews!:D

No congratulations deserved---I preorder all 3 Michelle Dozois, bought Rachel's Drop 2 Sizes and Kelly's latest 3 (not to mention Cathe's, although those aren't even close to being released) so I have plenty of other options and can afford to be patient!!:D

m42 06-13-13 03:55 PM

I'm trying to calm the insanity also. Must be strong. Ommmmmm.......

edensmom 06-13-13 07:16 PM

OHHHHHmygosh I am ordering!! These look SO good. Glad that it isn't straight cardio.
I KNOW I will love them. I don't care about the price as I know I will get a ton of use out of them, just like I did the last set.

ETA things like MILF don't get me bent out of shape. It is kind of tacky, but it's only a workout.

lorajc 06-13-13 07:41 PM

I wonder if they would consider giving us VFerß an additional discount like some companies do. Anyone care to ask? There are a lot of us that purchase from them.

I really want these but I just lost my job a couple of weeks ago and I don't know how I can afford this price.

IrishOT 06-13-13 09:11 PM

I don't think I will get these right away. I got the first set when they were on sale for $50 and I think they are okay, but not anything I love.

If the price of this new set drops to $50 at some point, I will probably get it, but for now I am out.

I will of course read any and all reviews though ;)

I already asked a while ago, they said nope.

I see no reason or incentive to pre-order, not even free shipping, so I will order right before they are due to ship.

That's the thing with this pre sale; where is the incentive? Is it so you can say you're among the first people to have a copy? Wow, be still my beating heart. :p I'll wait for Mary to carry it, at least I will get free shipping, if I decide to order.
