Dream Body -- What Size Weights Do You Use?

I bought this from Collage since it was on sale but wondered what size weights you ladies were using? It looks like she's only using 1 pound weights in the clips.

I use 2 lbs for this one but it is a little light for some of the moves and starts to feel heavy for others.

Ditto. I used 3lbs for some of the moves and it was a little heavy for other exercises. But for the new set, I could never use 3lbs. I struggle with the weight that I have and it's not even 2lbs!

In the new 5 dvd set-do they use 1 or 2lb dumbells mostly?

I use 2 lbs for the new set. I don't own 1 lbs.

I don't even own 1lb dumbells-I have 2,3,5,8 and thats it. I got rid of my 10's a while back! Would 2lb dumbells work?

Yes, some use 2lbs but if it gets too heavy (which happens to me all the time) just drop them or take a rest. I believe that a few have both because the 2lb weights get heavy really fast. I never thought that such light weights would be such a killer!

I bought a 1 pound set because all of the posts on here had me terrified about DB! But, after doing this workout, I think you could probably get away with 2 pounds. But, it will increase the challenge level.

Either way, it's a great workout! I only added this once during the first week I had DB and just added it into my TA/barre rotation and dropped 4.2 unexpected pounds. This one works you! So, 1 or 2 pounds, I'm sure you'll get great results.

Sure. But they will get heavy very quickly on some moves. Some I use 3 lb, but for any that you have your arms up or straight out I drop to 1 lb.
