Ooh! Temeraire is coming!
I preordered that months ago for my Kindle - I'd forgotten it's this month. Thanks!

Just thought I'd add a few more to the new books list:

Penric's Demon by Lois McMaster Bujold has just come out in hardcover, after having only been available as an e-book. It's kind of expensive given the size ($21.25 for just 184 pages). It's one of her Chalion series.

June 14: Stiletto: A Novel (The Rook Files) by Daniel O'Malley (Hardcover)

Thanks so much for the new books list!

Currently reading Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk for my library book discussion group. It's keeping my attention, but overdosing me on profanity. (disclaimer: I'm really not a prude, but enough is enough.)

Also reading the first one of Shelley Freydont's Newport Gilded Age series, so I'm glad to see the 2nd one on dfit's list, above. I think I liked her other series more, but too soon to tell.

Oh dear.....my list just grew to over 100 on my library wish list. I try to get books on cd when I can. It makes it easier to "keep up" with all the stories to be told and enjoyed. Thank you so much for posting....I think.

Great list. One of my library e lending apps just loaded up on cozy's. Hard to figure out where to start! But, I'm now listening to my third kind of depressing book, I'm going to need something lighter.

I'm now reading The Sign for Drowning, about a woman whose younger sister drowns as a child; she later learns ASL, thinking she can communicate with the sister she lost. I read about the book years ago and was interested in it, and I recently found it in the $1 section of B&N. A small part of me thinks that I may have already read it--it does sound familiar, but I think that's only because I had previously read a summary. Anyway, I am enjoying it.

Thank you for this! Just added Stephen King's book to my library list.

I'm reading All Stories are Love Stories, about a devastating earthquake in modern-day San Francisco and its effect on three people. After the alarming article in the New Yorker about the dormant Cascadia fault line and the potential for a catastrophic earthquake and tsunami on the West Coast, this book is hitting a little too close to home....

ETA: finished this. It's VERY wordy and has a very pat and unrealistic ending. Pass.
