Insight Timer is amazing and has some really fabulous practices on there. I like Andrew Johnson, but he is chatty.

I like Insight Timer too--so much free content plus flexibility to do guided or timed.
I also did this great (free!) 40-day series from Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach: https://www.soundstrue.com/store/min...ly/free-access |
I'm a fan of Yoga Nidra, and particularly like Karen Klutznick's Conscious Relaxation Serenity Now cd.
I've also been exploring Jon Kabat Zinn's mindfulness books and cds. Oh, and I just recently bought Jane Adam's Gentle Yoga. Still yoga, but with a focus on moving with the breath. I'm also a fan of J Brown's yoga dvd. Focused on the breath and the whole 'gentle is the new advanced' approach to practicing. |
Another vote for Insight Timer. I usually just use the timer function or ambient music/nature sounds, but there are many many guided meditations in the app too.

How much is membership? Please

Another two-thumbs-up for Insight Timer. Free unless you want to pay for extras. Not necessary as there are TONS of free meditations on there.
I HIGHLY recommend Stephen Proctor and Meditation in the Shire. http://meditationintheshire.com.au/ Out of Australia. ALL FREE! Best meditation instruction around! Also Bodhipaksa/Wildmind. He has lots of free stuff on YouTube and lower cost downloads. His voice is wonderful. https://www.wildmind.org/ And last but definitely not least, Ajahn Achalo and Peace Beyond Suffering. Lots of FREE content/meditations. Sweet style, very kind and gentle. http://www.peacebeyondsuffering.org/ They are my favorite meditation teachers. There really is a lot of good content out there. |
Thank you for the recommendation. I like this. Will download today.
