Rest in Peace 2020
Neil Peart, the drummer from Rush, died January 7 of brain cancer...he was 67. :(

So sad. Rush is one of my most favorite bands. I first saw them as the third backup band in the 70's & have been a fan ever since. The concert was Kansas, Derringer & Rush. Rest in peace, Neil.

I am very sad about Neil Peart. We are big Rush fans and have seen them in concert many times. I heard The Red Barchetta on the radio just the other day and thought "I sure hope they tour again." Looks like not. :( RIP Neil, thinking of his family and band family.

Darn, darn, darn! Here we go again. It's tougher when the deaths are our peers/contemporaries.

The cycle of life is hard sometimes but fortunately these talented artists leave us with many lovely memories.

Terry Jones from Monty Python has died. He had been suffering with dementia.
My husband was lucky enough to meet him. He was at a Graham Chapman show at The Ritz in NYC (long gone great venue) and Terry was hanging out at the bar. He was really nice. I am sure we will be pulling out Python dvds in the next day or so..... Kate, I am guessing you are a fan ? Sherry |
Sad about Terry Jones but knew he was suffering from dementia for a while now. Thankful for all the great work he has left behind. Will be watching Monty Python in his honor today.

I just read about Terry Jones' death and the fact that he was suffering from dementia. Very sorry to hear that.

May Terry rest in peace. I'm going to have to watch Life of Brian in his honor.
