UGI fitness
Hey oldies but goodies.
what ever happened to the UGI ball? I came across this on youtube and wondered what I did with mine. Anyone still have one? |
I still have mine, I got it back on 2011... Wow!
I *think* Ugi sold it to Mad Dogg Ahletics (or maybe they partnered?): https://www.maddogg.com/ Can't you find your ball? Maybe you sold it? |
I swear I had one. But I know me. When I need money I start selling off stuff.
Can’t believe I spent that kinda money on a ball. Which size did you get? |
I got the 10 lb turquoise one. At first, I found it too heavy, but I eventually build my strength and I was able to handle it. But, it has been a while. Do you remember which size did you get? I know... They are expensive, and I can't believe the price hasn't gone down.
|
Nope. Can’t remember. The price should have gone down by now8years later.
I know I had trouble with being able to keep up. I vaguely remember the program being too fast for me. I want the 6 pound. Just keeping my legs up in the air is a lot for me. I found some good vids on you tube that I believe I can keep up with. They certainly are not the videos that came with the ball |
Do you have The Firm Zip Trainer? That one is 5 pounds, maybe you could give those wotkouts a try with it?
|
I was looking at that. I might just buy one and see how it is. Must be a lot stiffer to only cost 39$ I’ll look on YouTube for some vids to check out thank you
|
You're welcome. I can't compare them since I don't have the Zip, but I was reading some threads and people since to like it very well, I also read on amazon some people bought the Zip to do the BodyRock Ugi workouts from YouTube as it was cheaper than the Ugi. Maybe someone who has both here could chime in. I hope it will work for you, if you end getting one.

Thanks for the help and suggestions as to what I can do with this type ball. I do have an 8 pound medicine ball to me is very heavy. You really have to squeeze your legs to keep that ball in place, I have sent maddogg an email just to see if a 6 is around. Or I’ll just use my orange medium size ball.
|
I still have my 6" Ugi ball. Don't use it though. I'd be happy to send it to someone for the cost of postage.
