Misty Tripoli Body Grooves

Hi all,

I saw something about Misty doing new Body Grooves workouts including strength type stuff. Does anyone know about them?

I looked on Instagram and Facebook but I didn’t see anything.

TIA!

I'm there for it if she does :). Although I do hope she sticks to dance.

I have a vague memory of that, but I cannot find her post. She will post once with a new idea, and then you do not hear anything about it for months.

I think it was mixing strength training with dance, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for your responses.

Yes it was dance and strength. Kind of like dance the mobility and strengthening. It looked great! It was earlier this year I believe when I saw it

I scrolled through back to last December and could not find it.

It's probably not what you are looking for but nine Body Groove Strong workouts were added to the subscription site in the past couple of months or so. There are 3 Abs workouts, 3 for the Booty, 2 Circuit and 1 Stretch, ranging from 7.30 to 13.30 minutes.

There's a bit of Body Groove style to them but they are mostly straightforward strengthening and toning with lots of modifications (some class members use weights and bands).

They all target the areas in a different way. I love them as an add-on. My favourite is one for the Booty which is really strengthening up my weak glutes on my left side.

Margot, that probably is it-thank you! I had actually just messaged her Facebook site to ask about them. I dislike that you can't see everything that is on her subscription unless you have paid for it. I like to know that there is new material before signing up. If I hear back something different, I will post. I did ask if whatever the workouts are if they were going to be released on dvd.

Hi Sherry

I agree, it is frustrating when you can't view all the classes on the subscription before signing up. I've had a subscription to BG since last November and I've never had an email to say when new classes are uploaded. It's just pot luck when I come across something new! think their communication could be better. Having said that, I love the workouts.

Ooh this sounds like something i would like! I find it hard to get my strength training in - I'd rather do cardio/movement, etc. so this sounds like a nice compromise for me.

Every time I restart using weights I hurt myself, so I need something gentler and different. Maybe this would be it....I have no problems sticking with a load of cardio and yoga five days a week, plus extra yoga on rest days if I feel up to it.
