Airex Balance Pad for P57
I saw someone post on here that they used this pad for P57 so I decided to give it a try. I had been using the Bender Ball for back support. I have used it twice now and wow! It made a big difference. I have gained a lot of strength in my abs, but I think using this is going to help me to gain even more. I am glad that I started with the Bender Ball though, as it gave me the support I needed to be able to do these exercises in the first place.
I also put up an additional mirror (directly in front of me). Not sure why I didn't do this before (I have one to the side), but I like it. I think it will help with my form. Always a good thing! :) |
I too got an airex pad - for balance work to strengthen my ankles - but the first time I used it for P57, I had a great Ah-HA moment! Yes, they're expensive, but it works very well. I don't have a sofa cushion to use, and I've tried using the ball, but nothing works as well as the airex pad.

I love my Airex Balance pad and use it all the time. It's been worth the investment
yahoo205 - I use it with floor work, like Tracy Anderson, etc. It's great :D |

Might be cheaper at Amazon... |
I went ahead and bought it in XL. Its the same pad but twice as long. Im having second thoughts now, do you think the extra lenght is better if you are to use it for kneeling exercises mostly? I read that while doing TA, some exercises would feel better to your knees if you have your supporting shin completely on the floor. Im hoping to get some answers before it ships. TIA.
