BJ Gaddour's Bodyweight Cardio Burners
 
I just got this dvd, and previewed it and am pretty impressed. A nice range of bodyweight cardio exercises. A lot of high impact, but there are some low impact exercises. I love crab variations, and there are plenty. BJ Gaddour is still a total goofball, but also very knowledgeable and demonstrates great form.

3 20-minute cardio workouts called The Sizzler, The Broiler, and The Incinerator. I think they are all in the 20 seconds of work, 10 seconds rest format, and he does not repeat exercises unless it's to do it on the other leg kind of thing. Near the end of the workouts, he starts to make you do isometric holds during the 10 second rests. The coolest part is the bonus workout called The Mobility Maximizer. It is 30 minutes of mobility exercises for your body from head to toe.

I'll come back and say more once I've done the workouts.

This one is on my list! I'm also a huge BJ fan. :love: I received his new book last week, but haven't had a chance to really look it over. I think he's fantastic!

I have the Bodyweight Muscle Burners dvds, too. I was going to post about them separately. :)

I did this one yesterday, and really loved it. My legs were dying at the end, with no rest time and it looked like BJ's were, too. The workout moved by at lightening speed, since the exercise changed every 30 seconds (except for the last 5 minutes, when it started to feel like it would never end!)

One thing that became clear when I was doing these breakdowns-- BJ is alternating vertical cardio with horizontal cardio, to keep you moving up and down and keep that heart rate high. I think it's called peripheral heart action- get the blood flowing in the lower body, and then the upper body, and back down again.
